The US Nazi leader just announced by an executive order(EO) that mirrors the SAVE act that the Nazis are currently pushing through the House The SAVE ACT will require people who register or re-register to vote (31m do that every year….for various reasons change address/change county, change name with marriage) that they prove they are citizens in order to vote This can be done in 2 ways: 1) proof of birth either by original birth certificate(who has that?) or 2 passport (12% have passports and are usually white and wealthy) What about women who have different last names now? Try to register if you do not have your original birth certificate because marriage licenses, military ID’s will not count Estimates for 2026: 7million voters will be disqualified or not counted

2 Check voter registration 80d ahead of election and don’t use a provisional ballot…nearly 50% don’t get counted
3 Most of the voter suppression laws on the books are to disqualify or disenfranchise Black voters, women voters, Hispanic voters ….good old fashioned Jim Crow 2.0….talk to your minority voting friends about the dangers of the Nazis coming after their votes
4 Protest the USPS being brought under the Commerce Dept because this is the step to privatize and then control mail in voting(if this happens 1 in 7 votes will be lost….MIT doubles that to 1 in 4)
I live abroad and we will be disenfranchised too. Since we were known to have made the difference in several elections for the Democrats, Trump wants to get rid of us, after promising we would not have to file taxes in the US if we file them elsewhere, which he has apparently forgotten, and instead wants to punish us because most of us are democrats. People where I am living are discussing how much they want Article 25 to be enacted, but I am looking at the line of secession for 18 places and they are all awful, terrible people.
Staying in the US is like staying in an abusive marriage, or living with a drunk abusive parent. Better to leave until that parent is gone. One can fight the parent or spouse better sometimes when you are not there.
Great show as always. Walter hilarious. To be clear there large elements of wind turbines that are challenging to recycle. The fibre glass in the blades for example. New technologies are changing that. The lifecycle is between 20-30 yrs though. The arguments that people make ignore the non recyclable materials associated with end of life dirty fossil fuel power plants.
Understand that the GOP created this situation in that the GOP senate refused to remove him from office after he was impeached. The GOP is complicit in this treasonous behavior and should hang with Trump.
About water saving devices, this is a local issue because certain regions have water supply issues and using less water is a sustainability issue, a matter of life and death. These regions use pricing to get people to use less water that thus wastes less of a scarce resource.
