As an American, I could not concur more wholeheartedly with everything you stated. It is our responsibility and obligation - and by that I mean we in the US - to rid ourselves of the scourge that is President Donald J. Lastly, we will allow China to insert its influence throughout Asia, will little guarantee that we will aid our Asian allies against any Chinese future aggression, essentially ceding the world’s largest emerging economies to our fiercest adversary: China! I’m sure that’s going over well with S. Korea, Taiwan, and Japan.
This all sounds like a solid plan for America First, and America alone. Except, it assumes that the rest of the world will fall in line; they won’t and they aren’t.
Ukraine and Europe are already taking steps to decouple themselves from us militarily; while they and Canada buy and develop their own organic Military Industrial Complex. And they’re about to unfreeze $200 billion in frozen Russian assets from Belgium to rebuild Ukraine and supply them with weapons.
Moreover, it will mean fewer weapons sales from our Military Industrial Complex; which it’s already eating into their bottom line, which means fewer jobs. Canada just purchased 77 Saab JAS 39 Griper fighter jets; cancelling a contract with Lockheed Martin for F-35’s.
Furthermore, Trump also recognized in the National Security Strategy that European trade is vital to the US; yet, they hate the rule based order and trade guardrails; hence, their determination to blame everything on immigrants and free speech. However, he can’t allow for an invasion without detrimentally destroying our economy in the process. Our GDP is only slightly larger than the EU in terms of Purchasing Power Parity!
Therefore, Trump understands that he can’t allow Russia to invade; he can just work with them to destroy them economically through tariffs, misinformation and disinformation campaigns; as well as trying to get right-wing parties elected.
Bottom line, the World is on to them; and the world won’t go gently into that goodnight! IMHO…:)

It's not the actual rambling words that matter but what's between the lines.
I watched a new segment on the new MS Now show this morning over my morning coffee, about how CBP and ICE arrested a Chinese man and his six year old son and separated them. The man has been in detention awaiting deportation for a while, and only just within the last few days, was able to have a phone conversation with his six year old son, whom they still don't know where he is.
Now, this Chinese man is in the U.S. under an asylum claim. He was arrested when he went in to the immigration office for his monthly check in, like so many thousands of other people who have come to the U.S. seeking sanctuary. Now they're being snatched up at these check-ins and put in concentration camps across the country. We've heard this story over and over again.
What got my attention, is one, this man is Chinese! Is DHS deporting Chinese asylum seekers in the same volumes as the Latin, Haitian, Afghans, and now maybe the Somali's?
That got my attention, along with the fact that despite the judicial system outlawing children being separated from their parents during Trump and Miller's first term, they're apparently still doing it under the guise of something else.

We can help you with that, for a price." That's the art of the deal in its very essence. Don't let the hype fool you.
With the EU council scaring the crap out of all of the Anglo Europeans, that "the Russians are coming, the Russians are coming," they're buying into Trump's message. Buy more American military equipment so you can fight the Russians. Meanwhile, Trump is sitting back over here and telling them, don't worry, we'll be right here across the Atlantic if you need us.
I'm reading small stories that soon, Trump and company want to target green card holders and naturalized citizens from the 19 countries he doesn't like anymore. If these stories have a shred of truth to them, we all know where this will eventually lead, if the American electorate is sidelined. Which the MAGA republicans are working very hard to accomplish.
How long before Trump and Miller eventually come after other people from countries that he suddenly doesn't like anymore? For those of you living in the U.S. and working for Zeteo right now, you may very well become part of the purge if this is allowed to continue. Mehdi Hasan may end up being deported back to England and the rest of you deported back to where you or your parents came from originally. We all know now that first generation, native borns are not safe anymore, especially if the Supreme Six give Trump his wish to roll back the 14th amendment.
I'm just saying the quiet part out loud. I'm sure that everyone in this country who is living here with a valid green card or are naturalized citizens, have already had this conversation with their adult family members late at night after the kids are asleep. Good point about children being trafficked through and in collusion with the Foster care system. This is a system that thrives on how many children it detains. Extra Federal money goes to states for children of color and traumatized or disturbed children. A call out to those who know people taken by ICE are having this issue? All that help those at risk should enquire if those at risk have made provision for specific people to take care of thir children, should they be taken. This should be registered with their migrant rights attorneys or helping organization, along with parents and child's legal standing paperwork. This Identifies what happens to the kids involved if one or more parents or caregivers is detained or disappeared. Have that lawyer or help agency on speed dial to come to assistance for detainee and family ( spouse and children) if taken.

While I have not yet seen or read the actual document (though I certainly plan to), the pages and reporting I have seen are enough to cause me to feel a sinking nausea in the pit of my stomach. As with almost everything "Trump", I've come to learn, it is the antithesis of everything American I've known and loved almost all my 73 years. As with Trump himself, the document reeks throughout with corruption à la Stephen Miller, xenophobia, paranoia, racism, so-called "Christian Nationalism" and it's accompanying theocratic authoritarianism. Further, it's pushing the envelope toward a very, very dangerous precipice, especially given Trump's insatiable personal desire to feel increasingly more and more powerful and, in the process, becoming more and more destructive and more and more tyrannical.
As someone who has long studied authoritarian regimes and dictatorships, it is now impossible not to see too many similarities between the rise of the Third Reich in Germany during the first half of the 1930s and much of what is occurring in Donald Trump's America today. In lieu of Adolf Hitler and his Joseph Goebbels, we have Donald Trump and his Stephen Miller. One possible saving grace is that the latter are not nearly as smart or politically savvy as the former.
However, when you have this newly released "National Security Strategy" seeking to, and I quote "reestablish strategic stability with Russia" it reflects a perverse and dangerous folly that has afflicted not only Donald Trump and Stephen Miller, but also to a lesser or greater degree, the entire cabinet and the majority of other key Congressionally confirmed appointments. It doesn't take a historian or a poli-sci professor or a four-star flag officer to know that there is unilaterally NO such thing as true STRATEGIC STABILITY with Mr. Putin's RUSSIA. Period. Full stop. And while snipe hunting in the Caribbean and establishing combined firepower off the coast of Venezuela sufficient to neutralize half of South America, we have already alienated our mutually long and hard won friends and allies not only in Europe and the UK but elsewhere in the world along with NATO, who we have so savagely attacked, yet is the Nexus of the true STRATEGIC ADVANTAGE we can maintain with MR PUTIN's RUSSIA and that goes a long way toward our strongest strategic position toward other adversaries worldwide. A well-informed blind man could see it.

How, again and again I ask myself, can the Netanyahu regime perpetrate against Gaza a policy that, at its core, so closely reflects that done to the Jewish people in the latter years especially of WWII/Great Patriotic War. How can this same regime commemorate and celebrate the establishment of the modern day State of Israel while simultaneously denying the Palestinian people, most certainly including those of Gaza, a Homeland and State of their own even as established by international law in the documents partitioning Palestine and establishing the current State of Israel. And closer to home, how can we - the United States of America - remain the only vote against condemning Israel, i.e. the already adjudicated criminal Netanyahu regime - and continue supporting them with vast foreign aid militarily and otherwise. And Why? Why is almost all American Media - with the near lone exception being Mehdi Hassan and Zeteo - top to bottom, again silent or dismissal on the rapidly deteriorating Fate of Gaza and her suffering and dying people. I have no easy answers. Somehow it seems more than, perhaps, ever before in my 73 years, that America has lost its "heart", its ability to collectively empathize with the downtrodden and helpless. If that's so, I cannot let myself believe that it will never come back. I must also accept that it may not be in my l lifetime, though I certainly hope that it is. But in any event, I fear that it will be too late for the starving, suffering and dying children of Gaza.
Gaza is not the only place where followers of Islam are being persecuted. They are also being persecuted in China, but Zoteo to my knowledge has never condemned China for what it is doing to its followers of Islam. I have asked Zeteo to explain their double standard of only condemning Israel and not China and it is never answered. I have ancestors from China so this is personal to me. Unless and until ZETEO condemns all anti Islamic persecution where ever it occurs they are Hypocrites. Issuing lies, misconceptions and distortions of imagined events or things one hopes will come true by wishing them so does not make them true nor coming true.
