Thankfully our (former) allies have has the sense to say “no” in aiding this fever dream of Donald J Trump. Because of their willingness to draw a line, the conflict will end sooner. The US has always enjoyed support in long-running engagements, without it Trump’s ability to extend and expand it will be limited.

I would have to say that the fascination that so many ppl in our society have with serial killers (cough Ryan Murphy cough) makes this claim barely surprising. Also, kegseths antics are SOOOO fucking stupid and counterproductive if you care one ounce about American service members & contractors that aid them--to paraphrase a military-minded man in the name of General Colin Powell, those rules of engagement are in place to protect OUR OWN SOLDIERS!!!!! because that moral high ground gives us protection in international law... they will inevitably inflict those things and worse on our own soldiers & American citizens travel globally all the time, we can't protect them physically 24/7, so those laws and the Geneva Convention are in place to hold as a protective line that ppl don't cross UNLESS they want to be fully unloaded on (hence why there are differentiations of types of combatants vs uniformed soldiers, etc.). You are a fucking rat bastard acting like rules of engagement make you weak or "less fun"
