Another factor, that I think I have read about in Zeteo also, is Iran's oil trade with Russia and other countries via the Caspian Sea, which is out of reach of US ships.

Yeah, dumb isn't even the word for this.

I'd argue that after killing Iranian leaders while they were negotiating might put a crimp in any possible deal...

Big gratitude to Harrison Mann. Leaving a position at DIA because of Joe Biden's blind support of Netanyahu must have been a sacrifice involving a lot of less-than-pleasant consequences.

Government Corruption: What Nazi Republicans Are Not About

The last I heard the body of legislators called Congress exist to make lives better for WE the People, that is, the constituents the legislators represent The striking unpopularity of this Nazi Republican controlled Congress as reported by Harry Enten over at CNN….now at 90%....shows how the Nazi Republicans are so out of touch with what their responsibility is to their constituents That’s right, it’s more popular to think the earth is flat than think the Nazi Republicans are doing a good job And the bad job that this Nazi Republican Congress is doing is rubber stamping the widespread executive branch corruption overseen by Cheeto and his family

It’s clear that all dictators(in this case enabled by the Nazi SCOTUS and their immunity decision for Cheeto) pad the pockets of their family members…most recent example of Orban pushing billions to his son in law For Cheeto after firing 18 IG’s when he took office, now has decided to extend the Iranian war indefinitely(“don’t rush me” he now says after saying “no more wars”), so many government contracts around drone technology now get fed to his family members who are ready to tap into companies willing to sell those to Middle East allies No wonder Cheeto didn’t want Ukraine’s drone technology help…..Cheeto saw a $$$ making opportunity

It’s clear that Congressional Nazi Republicans would rather allow the corruption and have the taxpayers give them an open checkbook to line Cheeto and his allies’ pockets WE the People need to vote these fascists out of office and never let them see the light of public office again

Hey, I know it's hard to show support for Iran but years ago, my younger son took us to a terrific Persian restaurant on the east side of midtown New York when my wife and I were in town for a convention. He didn't stop talking about how great Persian food is. And he was right. It also has an amazing art and architectural history, millennia of history, rich culture, great language, and great people.

Is there a good Persian restaurant near you? I know this sounds like a trivial thing but every bit of support I know would be appreciated.

Yes, I know they're supporting the Russian war with their unarmed aerial vehicles (UAVs) but the US has done stupid things too, like not sending arms to Ukraine for AN ENTIRE YEAR! I won't mention a useless, wasteful invasion of Iraq and later, Afghanistan. So if you support Iran, any small effort on their behalf can be ethically worthwhile

There is no reason for Iran to trust the US to abide by any agreement because:

1: We attacked them twice during negotiations, and;

2. Israel will certainly try to spoil any agreement.

This is why Iran’s only option is to impose as much pain as possible on us as a deterrent against a future US attack on Iran or the US allowing Israel to attack Iran.

I think we have a 2.0, Captain Queeq (Humphrey Bogart's character in "The Caine Mutiny" 1954 movie.) in The White House running/ruining the country looking for the strawberries🍓🍓!

Nice analysis. Great work. Maybe 5 should be 1. A blockade is the opposite of a ceasefire.
