I absolutely support this!

I am however confused, are there people who pronounce historic without the H? An istoric? It has always confused me, and I've never heard anyone say it, but I've seen people write it many times...

As others say, stay safe, there are many violent pro-zionist people out there sadly.

I have often heard people say "It's an historic occasion," more than, "It's a historic occasion," and I think I have probably said it as well.

That's really weird though 😅🤣

It might be weird, but it is easier to say "an historic, than "a historic."

Mehdi, you have emerged as a leading American voice for justice and stability in the Middle East. And thanks to Tucker Carlson, Piers Morgan, and a few others for having the guts to speak the truth, you all are actual journalists.

Wonderful that you are doing this, Mehdi; you'll be in excellent company. And I hope that many international and Israeli Jews turn out in support because we Jews are probably almost as ancient a people as the first settlers - now called the Palestinians - in the land 'between the river and the sea.'

In my view, actor Mark Ruffalo, of Dark Waters fame, said it best: Boycott, divest, sanction and prosecute! Going to a concert in the midst of a genocide and premeditated starvation aided and abetted by our tax dollars and weapons seems awkward, to say the least. We have a right, so we think, to feel good especially in spite of the suffering we’ve caused at home and abroad, directly or indirectly by proxies. A concert assuages our conscious bc we did “something.”

Some cognitive dissonance is necessary since flying in particular and travel in general are significant, along with forever wars, contributors to the climate crisis, as well as ecocide; Earth plunder caused by modern man. We need stronger, peaceful action

I suggest doing away with paywalls to reach the most people rather promote information apartheid. Zeteo should end each piece with a call to action, such as calling and writing our elected officials, especially those in Congress, at (202)224-3121. Fascists ideology always includes Hatred for the Other, violence, normalization of suffering, fear, terror, lies and the list goes on. We must demand accountability rather than tolerate impunity. We must counter with action, peacefully. Every life is sacred. We must support a one-state solution with equal rights for all. Let’s educate ourselves and others, quickly. Read: The Case For Palestine, by Dan Kovalik, 2024.

Too bad you can’t march into Gaza with food and aid. The US government should ensure you safe passage, since we are largely complicit in this horrific moral tragedy.
