I'd like to see evidence that the 11 Venezuelans killed were indeed drug traffickers. Along with the fact that the US committed an illegal act, surely the drugs were confiscated. Where's the evidence?

Look at the behavior in North Korea, where innocent civilians were killed and their ship sunk.

Is the US becoming an international terrorist?

There's no doubt in my mind that we have become international terrorists. Blow up a boat without providing any evidence that the passengers were drug smugglers. Personally, I believe it's murder. trump has sent war ships and a nuclear sub, along with thousands of Navy and Marine personnel to the southern Carribean. Now stealth fighter planes to PR? This isn't about drug cartels, this is about something more nefarious, considering he stripped funding from the DEA and other drug enforcement agencies. He has some issue with the president of Venezuela, putting out a reward for his arrest. trump is mentally off the chart's psychotic.

As I u derstand it, there were 2 other boats before the one that was blown up that were allowed through. Why were they allowed to go to Trinidad, which was the destination? Also, who are the 11 people? Why has no one gone to the Vrnezuelan town to interview their families? Supposrdly, the town is a drug hub now. What can be done about this? Is it an impeachable offense?

We are focussing too much on the individual, it is time we shift our focus on the systemic issues such as Project 2025 et al.focusing too much on the individual; it is time we shift our focus to systemic problems, such as Project 2025,

If tomorrow the current head is not there, do we think everything would suddenly be honky dory?

Would we have a ceasefire in Gaza? Would we be able to compel Israel to allow food and other supplies to alleviate the suffering in Gaza? Would we be allowed to send relief to the oppressed people of South Lebanon, Afghanistan, and Yemen? Of course not; let us try to address issues systematically.

So what? Trump will just appeal and appeal and appeal (all at US taxpayers' expense now) until it gets to the Supreme Court whose partisan, bought-and-paid-for Conservatives will rubber-stamp anything he wants.

For reasons that will forever elude me, the voters of the US put this outright Fascist and convicted criminal in charge of their country and gave him total power.

It's game over for Democracy in the US.

Thanks, as always, Medhi and crew for doing this every week as much as it makes my blood boil to relive all the corruption and psychotic behavior coming out of this administration. It's important to me to post this on FB every week, trying to break through to even one maga cultist. If only the maga party in Congress would grow a spine, every one of them should be voted out of office. If not for their complicity in this authoritarian takeover, it could never have progressed so fast, if at all. They could have stopped most of this from even happening. How do those people live with themselves knowing that they're destroying our democratic republic?
