I voted for Chevalier and voted for Mamdani in the primary and general elections. I went against the popular profile since I am a boomer age Jew.
That many in this cohort still stand by Israel no matter what breaks my Jewish heart. As Jews we should be doing our part to make the world a better place. I hope I am alive to see a change first with the 2026 November election and then in 2028. I hope there are constitutional and court supported bulwarks against threats to a fair election. Damage has already been done by out of sequence gerrymandering and racial animus.

I would love more critical analysis of NYT's obvious editorial slant. I often see their own subscribers calling it out in the comment sections.
