Francesca Albanese deserves the Nobel Peace Prize (if that is even worth anything anymore) for her heroic work as UN Special Rapporteur and the highly-detailed, highly-referenced "From Economy of Occupation to Economy of Genocide". As in the movie "Clockwork Orange", every MAGA adherent and every anti-Palestinian Zionist should be forced to read this incredibly important document with their eyelids pinned open.

I agree with the first part of this comment, but I do not agree that torturing MAGA adherents or anyone else will solve anything or help in any way.

Francesca Albanese deserves accolades and awards, not censure and churlish vendetta of the Zio-Maga haters.

To her credit, this new report by Francesca Albanese is the latest in a series of excellent reports she has produced on the Gaza crisis. It's not at all surprising that she is unpopular in Washington and Tel-Aviv, since the official voices coming from those places are filled with lies and distortions. Settler-colonialist regimes cannot bear an examination of their flagrant violations of human rights.

If the US is against Mme Albanese she must be doing good work!

The US should cease bullying every one that says the truth. It is becoming a mad. mad world.

Isreal, the US & their spineless western supporters fear Francesca and want to close her down because Truth is Mightier than the Sword!

This should be all over the world's media but it's not. Francesca should absolutely get the Nobel Prize or maybe those who have lost their lives in Rafah should receive it. At this stage of the genocide it would seem that our spineless leaders are prepared to keep their silence and do absolutely nothing in the face of the most documented genocide in our history. Aotearoa New Zealand's Palestine Solidarity Network has referred NZ's Prime Minister, NZ's Foreign Minister, Winston Peters, NZ's Deputy PM David Seymore and Minister of Defence Judith Collins plus 2 company directors (Rocket Lab & Rakon) to the ICC with charges of complicity. Media coverage here in NZ, very, very little.

Even worse than donvict's ongoing obedience to the wishes of Xi and Putin is America’s ongoing support of genocide. This toxic mix may well destroy us.

As a Canadian I am so hoping my Prime Minister Mark Carney (an Economist himself) will have read this and choose to break with Britain and other colonial countries attached to them who have not acted with REAL ACTION. Palestine needs so much more than platitudes to the media of the"heartbreaking events". Total respect to Francesca and all those backing her report.

Another Canadian here. It seems pretty evident that Mark Carney is not going to stray from the status quo here. I have been disgusted with his stance and statements on Israel/ Gaza/Iran so far 🤬

And now we watch the UNSG to see if he is going to cave to US/Israel pressures to sack Ms Albeanese. This really should be the red line countries refuse to cross, otherwise they may as well fold their tents and capitulate to fascism on steroids. Ms Albanese, who I have followed for years, is more than the canary in the coal mine, she is the world's moral and ethical fibre the so-called western societies claim they promote, but abysmally fail to do.

Orange Cheeto and Anti Science

WE the People live in the 21st century not in the age of the Flintstones If it wasn’t Cheeto claiming during the COVID pandemic that it was just a bad case of the flu and would be over by summer, and had to be finally convinced that vaccinations would deal with the problem that eventuated in Operation Warp Speed But you never hear Cheeto and the Nazis taking responsibility for that project because down deep they know that science was the reason we got out of the pandemic alive Now Cheeto has an antivaxxer heading up the national health agency! Does this make any rational sense These guys are bat shit crazy!!

But hey what’s the big deal? People have to die some time “We’re all gonna die” says Joni Ernst And anything for a buck to help the fossil fuel industry to change the narrative that climate change is a hoax, like Russia didn’t interfere in the 2016 election, the Big Lie that Cheeto won the election in 2020, and the Nazi Project 2025 fabrication that the National Weather Service doesn’t provide useful information in protecting us from natural disasters

These Nazi policy makers don’t care about the American people They are a group of depraved sick immoral despicable human beings and everyone should be fearful of what they are capable of

In a year we have the chance to begin campaigning to throw these incompetent antiscience morons out of office But begin now by Protest Protest Protest

If the brilliant Greek economist Yanis Varoufakis, and Thomas Piketty, the economic thinker who changed economics forever, are supportive of Francesca Albanese then as far as I'm concerned, Albanese could walk on water and I wouldn't be surprised.
