I would never vote for Booker. He's just another politician bought and paid for by AIPAC. We need leadership that will take their noses out of the Middle East and stop kowtowing to the lobby of a foreign government.

Of the top three potential candidates, I would vote only for AOC, although I am not enthusiastic about her. I would vote for neither Harris nor Booker because of their support for genocide in Gaza. Booker voted against all three provisions of Sanders’ recent bill to block funding of weapons for Israel. Harris ridiculed and condescended to anti-genocide protesters. No one who has voted to support funding for genocide should be running for president. Booker also voted against buying cheaper drugs from Canada, while accepting more money from the pharmaceuticals than almost any other member of Congress. These votes are more important than his opportunistic monologue which was clearly intended to launch his bid for the presidency.

On another note: I would have signed up for an annual membership, but was dissuaded by a rant by Francesca. In it, she used the sexist and racist term, “Karen,” to refer to unidentified white women. She also said that white women were the beneficiaries of affirmative action, as if that is a legitimate criticism. Even so, she cited no source regarding the percentage of white women who had so benefitted relative to other protected groups. She may be referring instead to a reduction of discrimination, which should benefit us all. She is probably too young to remember when women were excluded from many elite colleges. (I worked for a law firm that successfully sued the University of Virginia for denying entrance to women). Maybe Francesca should apply for a position with the right-wing publication, The Washington Examiner, which in a recent article referred to all white women with college degrees as “Karens.” Her memes seem to come right out of the DNC’s playbook, which attempts to divide and categorize us by race, gender, etc. I respectfully refer Francesca to Frantz Fanon, who said (and I paraphrase), “Our race and skin color do not define us. Instead we are defined by ‘the master (we choose to) serve.’” I choose to align with other persons of conscience, regardless of their racial, ethnic or gender identities. I will not overlook support for genocide because of someone’s skin color, e.g., Harris and Booker, nor will I vote for or against someone based on their relative youth. I hope Zeteo is looking outside the a Democratic Party to save us from fascism. If not, we’re in for a long ride.

Nazi DOGE Communicating US Government Information With Russia

WOW!! Whistleblower Dan Berulis has come forward despite a threatening letter emanating from somewhere within the Nazi regime Mr Berulis who is/was in the IT dept of the NLRB has evidence that its secure computer systems were breached by DOGE Not only has sensitive data been exposed to the public space but there have been attempts to download information to Russia through Starlink, Musk’s satellite system

Of course there are several aspects to this whistleblower information Berulis suggests that the NLRB system is not the only agency whose data has been compromised With his network of IT government employees who do the same thing that he does at NLRB there is strong suspicion that what has been modeled at NLRB has been taking place throughout the government agencies Now that all this private citizen information is in the hands of the Nazi party(aka GOP) what will be done with it? Use the data to hurt people, particularly oligarchs who have unfair labor practices like Musk and Bezos But it’s suggested that DOGE is in cahoots with the Russian government, a direct pipeline of information to the Kremlin This is constitutional and international terrorism

For what purposes would the Nazis want this private information? Some come to mind Social security death to immigrants and other people whose social security numbers can be deleted so that the affected can no longer function financially in the country But another more insidious reason for the future, VOTER SUPPRESSION folks Pure and simple We are living in a police state creating a community of fear This is not only national security but a domestic security risk as well Could Berulis be sent to El Salvador?

Do not fight alone Better together than alone as we see protests unite us WE the People

No one would like this but I…. A first generation immigrant, brown woman from Pakistan, a physician…after living in the US ( a citizen for almost 20 years…)….believe democrats need to have a RICH WHITE STRAIGHT CHRISTIAN MALE to run for president… WE AS A NATION ARE YEARS AWAY FROM ANY SIGNIFICANT CULTURAL CHANGE AND THE TRUMPERS USE RACE, GENDER, SEXUAL ORIENTATION, ETHNICITY, RELIGION AS A SCARE TECTIC TO MOTIVATE THEIR VOTERS .

RICH , MIDDLE AGED, WHITE, STRAIGHT, MALE IS THE ANSWER

I am not… Americans are stuck in the 1800 due to a culture of white nationalism and exceptionalism and Patriarchy…. White women voted for a rapist vulgar misogynistic white man. They could have voted for a woman but they didn’t as Kamala Harris was not white. There’s nothing political in this country that is being debated and voted for or against… like infrastructure, education, foreign policy, healthcare, poverty, housing…. Both sides are fighting a cultural war and the simple fact that it’s a predominantly white Christian nation decides who wins…. Obama was an an anomaly and actually his coming and living in the WHITE house was used as the most potent fear / hate tactic by Trump and his fear mongering cronies.

I get what you're saying. Tim Walz is actually very pro-Palestine and definitely not a Zionist. I don't think he should be ruled out because of his race and gender (he's not that old), as his progressive record speaks for itself.

He is not pro-Palestine, he cancelled a meeting with his Palestinian constituents twice 5 minutes before they were supposed to meet and he said this "The expansion of Israel… is an absolute fundamental necessity for the US”. He has not called out the genocide. There was no red line for him. I will say it again, I am tired of old white men being president.

Did you even read the articles you shared? From the AlJazeera one:

"In reality, though, Walz has never diverged from the party line of unconditionally supporting Israel, a position illustrated by his comments earlier this year at an event held by the Jewish Community Relations Council.

“The ability of Jewish people to self-determine themselves is foundational … The failure to recognise the state of Israel is taking away that self-determination. So it is anti-Semitic,” he said."

My point is clear, I don't want another old white man beholden to Israel for President. You will not convince to like Tim Walz. I don't.

Unless something earthshaking stirs the Democrats into action (not election $$ begging), or there is an organized entity that has a real strategy, there will not be a 2028 election. Maybe not even one in 2026. Cynic in South Dakota.

All good, especially the interesting posture of testing candidates by features of hypothetical approaches to the job….

But can we please be real?

There is not election, there is no normalcy, there is no United States.

There is a coup.

They’re capitalizing, self serving megalomaniacs, intimidating, shipping innocent people out and into foreign jails, firing whole caches of unsuspecting folks indiscriminately, putting inexperienced cronies into critical jobs, blowing off rules, closing whole government agencies, throwing out traditions and flagrantly breaking laws.

It Is Not ‘How’s the weather?’ ‘What did you have for lunch?’ ‘Where are you going on your next vacation?’

All this is mute. We’re going down. We can’t wrap our brains around it, but we’re actually out here going down.
