DemocRats continue to put AIPAC and affiliate ahead of their American members and their own relevancy in the politics. They lost my vote and support and I am not sure they will ever get it back as their support for the genocidal Israel is far stronger than their support for people like me.

Good article, thank you, with a caveat re:

"But more than that, it will end up being a historic stain on our country that generations of people will look back on and wonder how the United States of America found itself funding the destruction of homes in Gaza instead of building homes here.”

I know what you're trying to do with “homes” (destruction abroad vs. building here) but, come on, the main stain on our country will be the murdering of the PEOPLE inside those homes. (And yes, I know that genocide was mentioned in the article, which I appreciated, but let’s keep the perspective slightly better, shall we? Maybe add ‘people’ to the sentence, if you will edit this?)

Zeteo. Shall we put faith in this two-party puppet show then?

Actions speak louder than words. Until the DNC shows action, their words are meaningless. I support specific candidates and issues, not a dollar to the spineless DNC. If anything, they’re a hindrance to progress and winning.

Indeed. Well said.

Not to release the data is shameful. How can they expect anyone to have respect for them?

'It was political malpractice for Democratic leadership to choose funding a genocide over stopping Donald Trump. '

This is the chokehold of the Israeli lobby on the Democratic leadership of Schumer and Jeffries.

Would anything change under these leaders? I doubt it.

Primary them NOW!

The analysis is spot on, but we might as well be shouting into the great void.

Let's be clear on who and what the Democratic "Party" is (as opposed to some of its individual elected members): Since at least the late 80's, they have been the party of war, Wall Street, middle class austerity, and, more recently, a Zionism so craven the so-called "liberal elite" sends in their own campus police to marginalize, expel, and beat the crap out of their own children for having the moral clarity to call out ethnic cleansing when they see it. Seems like many of them would rather serve Bibi and the greater Israel project than their own constituents. Sounds alot like the other party, right? FDR is rolling in his grave.

Hardly surprising that so many right-thinking Americans have come to detest the party. Democracies only work when there are (at least) two parties standing in opposition to each other.

The Dems need to come to their senses, examine what's in their hearts and what's been missing, admit they have been wrong, apologize and define a fair, honest policy on Palestine. They will sleep better at night.

Damn skippy and no surprises. Release the report. Just another example of corporate Dem obtuseness and to what purpose? This shitshow we are all having to survive is due to their hubris.

I'm glad they are having to see the reality.

Amazing reporting🙏… and it feels like the stakes could not be higher for the dems. How can anyone vote in good conscience against the Trump fascist regime while supporting one abroad? We are at the cross-roads collectively facing the mirror of our own authenticity and desire to heal. Please oh please choose the higher ground.

Wake up and smell the coffee, Dems. The USA Public knows what is going on in Gaza and for its neighbors and our part in the genocide and on-going MESS, that we could stop with limits on Israeli harms to the people of Gaza, from routine bombing and destruction, Settler violence in the West Bank and agriculture areas, as well as ongoing incursion with MORE illegal settlements planned for Palestinian lands. Stop providng moeny and weapons for anything until the ceasfire is real. Why continue to ignore that this regional war is wrong, as well as the continued bombing of neighboring nations. Israel is hell bent on its own destruction as they attempt to destroy Palestinians and the people and property of near-by nations? Take a stand Democrats and not a penny more for continuation of Isreli's genocidal war and efforts to attack other nations for more land. The USA should have NO part in such destruction of all nations, including Israel.
