Your livestock and fields have been ripped apart by bombs and lie dead and bloated in the field. Next to the field lies the pilot of the jet that just destroyed your family and your life. Now ask yourself, what would you do to the person who just tried to kill you for reasons you can not comprehend?
Your closing line is loving and hopeful, but mercy dies quickly because war is unforgiving and unemotional. It simply kills everything in its inhumanity.
Fight for peace everywhere and for everyone now, and be unrelenting in your pursuit of peace because War is good for nothing and no one.
Based on past observation, Iranians have proven to be rational in these matters. I remember when they captured some sailors in their water and the West was up in the arms that they were in the international water and now those sailors are being tortured. Iran provided the GPS coordinates and a video of the sailors playing ping pong and all safe. It was such humiliation for the West.
It will be on their own heads for obeying illegal orders and their willingness for bombing non-military targets. They are also the ones that might suffer, not the odd couple.
