California Senators continue being completely useless

Noticed that. Schiff posed for a photo with Netanyahu during the latter’s recent visit to DC to meet with Trump. So did a number of other Democratic senators, including Cory Booker, Chuck Schumer and Jacky Rosen (Nev.). Surprised that Amy Klobuchar voted to cut off funds, as she was the fifth Democrat in the Netanyahu photo and she has taken AIPAC money regularly in the past. I wrote her two days ago to condemn her consistent, unconditional support for Israel. Maybe a lot of other people did too. We have to keep the pressure up on these so-called “representatives.” It’s the only way the genocide will end. Cut off the weapons and the money.

Schiff has been terrible. Padilla is the biggest disappointment

ROSANNE SLOANE's avatar

Padilla has no moral core. He cried when he was wrestled to the ground, but does NOTHING to support those who COULD help. He sends back form letters AND asks US TO FUND HIS FIGHT TO STOP THIS. Sorry but I vote on a ballet, not on money. The worst kind of hypocrite.

YES HE DID. WIth Netangahhum No Cory BOoker, Schumer? Whatever Am Klobuchar ate for breakfast she needs to feed to these other "Senators" OR maybe she should feed them NOTHING so they know what they voted for; FAMINE and someday? Pictures with Netangahu will be as damming as pictures with Hitler. We all wrote. THey sent back lies in letter form. Cory Booker? What would John Lewis say?

Yup. Michigan especially has no excuse either. Disgusting.

Especially seeing Slotkin show up on Breaking Points recently talking about the need for aid but not the need to suppress arm sales. Krystal Ball teed it up, I'd love to see her on Zeteo for a fun and friendly conversation with Mehdi.

Good point. A lot of people are trying to resuscitate their deservedly bad reputations on this by focusing only on getting the aid in. (Missed the Krystal Ball segment). So, it’s okay to feed people today and kill them with weapons tomorrow. Or feed them breakfast and shoot them before lunch. Fatten them up before the slaughter, so to speak. Not okay to starve children, but okay to blow their limbs off.

P.S. Senator Kim is from New Jersey, not Hawaii. The article lists three senators from

Hawaii. Give some credit to NJ, especially since Cory Booker is such a liability!

Slotkin (brags about her intelligence expertise) also missed the vote that confirmed Joseph Kent (J-6 conspiracy amplifier) as Director of the National Counterintelligence Center. I left a note asking for her reason (there could be a reason).

Every member of the Republican Party who voted this way is pro ethnic cleansing and war crimes. More Israelis are horrified than members of the GOP.

Very true and good to remember. The real evil is Republican. They seem to approve of famine.

All this is finally some progress. I have to thank Bernie Sanders for standing up and being the moral person in the room and we need the list of everyone that voted against Bernie’s resolution. Those are people that need to go in as I have no moral character.

Bernie Sanders deserves credit for any progress at all. He has been the butt of jokes and now is the only human being in Congress who is not corrupt and votes with what is moral and true. Please give him some props. He is fearless!!

No surprise that Schumer & Gillibrand voted with the GOP. Great majority leader- voting against the wishes of the Democratic base.

What do we expect from Schumer? He’s backing Cuomo for mayor. He’s everything that’s wrong with the Democratic Party. He needs to go.

Cory Booker is the biggest AIPAC boot licker ever. Does he actually believe that his performances/stunts lately will ingratiate him with democratic voters?!

We in NJ should look to primary him….Ras Baraka for Senate in 2026?

WE do not need to be told what we SHOULD do. THEY need to be told, by a vote to be out of office.

So Adam Schiff, democrate in my own state? You approve of famine or are you scared of your base supporters. I shouldn't be surprised. You took a picture with the monster or engineered this famine. I do NOT want a senator who approves of murder. SHAME

What does being pro-Israel have to do with feeding starving children?

If you are pro-Isreal, you support starvation? If you are pro-Israel you support bombing

a country with a horrific famine? THis is about HUMAN BEINGS.

Feed the starving. What kind of country wants to bomb starving children because that is all that is left of Gaza. Where are the "bad people" hurting Israel NOW in Gaza?

Starved and bombed children. Pro-Israel means starve and kill children? OR? Can anyone be pro-Israel, AND stop killing children?

So republican Senators? Do you support the starving and bombing of children? Because you just voted to allow Israel to do just that. Be pro-Inrael and give them some tough love. STOP and feed children!!

If you voted for more bombs, and bombing? You are pro murder of children and approve of famine.

I just now looked at one published by Time magazine and she is on it. I shouldve checked a couple of sources. My apologies to you and Patty.

Thank you for posting this! I hope we all write to all the senators who voted against the bills, starting with the Democrats. It seems all the senators have form emails on their websites that we can fill out and send electronically, so it’s easy. I read today that Kamala Harris announced she is not running for governor of CA so she can contemplate another run for president. I read what she said to and about pro-Palestinian protesters in the 2024 campaign. No way would I vote for her. I hope people let her know that early. In a recent cable news interview, Tim

Walz refused to say that he and Harris should have taken a different position than Biden (that is, genocide) on Gaza.

Certain weapons? No more 1000lb. bombs for you because they just kill too many civilians at one time. You can still get the 500lb. bombs though 'cause they don't kill quite as many. For any worthy praise, stop all weapons sales to Israel!

I expect this from the TACO sellers, but I'm ashamed that any Dems joined the Genocide Club. They still expect us to support them in their next elections? I for one will try to keep them branded with this.
