She has lost all respect. Any moral person will continue to support Al Syed. They can’t be swayed by the person who’s character rhymes with switch.

And they say progressives and leftists aren’t team players? We routinely ate crap and voted for their nominees time and time again for years. When the shoe was finally on the other foot, they pull a Fetterman almost immediately right when it matters.

100%! Looks like even Neera T. sees a blue wave for progressives and now wants to hop on a surfboard....

Stevens, Schumer, Jeffries, and Pelosi are good examples of why we need a new Democratic party- one that doesn’t support racism in any form and also is willing to stand up to the corporate interests that currently control both political parties in the US.

Apparently money from AIPAC is more important than affordable health care, food, gas etc. Truly disgraceful. Hoping for a big win for El-Sayed.

It's Israel. I wonder just how much pressure they applied to get this to happen. And yes. The money. Although I imagine Stevens' political career is toast. Neither Party will ever want to join with her again.

Just what we needed - another Kirsten Sinema. For the first time in memory, I’m agreeing with Neera Tanden. If Stevens is on any committee other than toilet maintenance, she should be dumped therefrom.

Edit: When Mallory McMorrow, with whom I have some Zionism disagreements, was defeated in the primary, she immediately and whole-heartedly threw her support to El-Sayed, and I note that many of her contributors have done so as well. Stevens is a disgusting self-aggrandizing turncoat. Mallory is one of us. (Oh - and I’ve been typing all this while drinking from my shiny new Zeteo coffee mug.)

Because she is getting $ from Aipak and so is Rogers, El Sayed is not!

The Unitary is shedding. Stevens is making it crystal clear that policies that help Americans are of little importance to her. I doubt she's going to be bringing a sizable number of voters with her.

She missed all of early voting. How many moderate Haley primary voters already pulled the lever? (This isn’t strategy. It’s a tantrum.)

I don't think it was a strategic decision on her part. She wanted to try keeping quiet and not saying anything. It's the boyfriend. "I don't think she's going to be supporting El-Sayed much longer!" (Smirk, gloat)

Haley Stevens is a piece of shit, just like every other so-called moderate corporate Democrat who wants to do what she just did but would rather hide behind their "do you disavow" comments towards Piker and El-Sayed.

Fuck them and fuck her! I can't wait for El-Sayed to win so she can be lost in the political wilderness forever!

Yes. Calling these genocide-supporting and billionaire-dependent politicians “moderates” is truly Orwellian. The NYT just did that again yesterday, referring to Stevens as “more moderate” than El Sayed. The paper also repeatedly referred to Susan Collins as a “moderate” in a front page story about her. Fortunately, that label was overwhelmingly challenged in the comments. But we seem less willing to refer to right-wing Democrats by their correct labels. For example, there’s no way Hakeem Jeffries is a moderate.

Agreed. And take notice of how much public figures like Scott Galloway push being “moderate” as the majority position, even when it is morally reprehensible. He continues to sanitize the Gaza Genocide as a “war,” despite his more progressive positions on other issues. They want to defund our public systems even though people like Musk (Tesla, Starlink, SpaceX) profit from them the most and are the biggest Welfare Queens. Without our tax dollars, they would have NOTHING! Everyday people want to fund education and healthcare in our own communities but they want our same tax dollars to pay for their rockets, their satellites that run the war machines, their bombs, their killing industry. That is what is at stake.

She stood on her lack of humanity and may it take her down.

AIPAC money has a long reach in the US - politicians whose pockets are lined with the genocide supporters $ are corrupt to the core and I hope that in my lifetime, I’ll see Americans finally wake up

Great. We can write her off. Good to know where traitors are located.

According to some reports, the Democratic State leader called Haley and asked her to confirm her strong support for El-Sayed, and she said yes, she supports him. How can people who lie live with themselves? The NYT didn't help by calling the disagreement over Israel a "feud."

The New York Times never helps progressive candidates.

The search for justice never ends! The Hind Rajab Foundation is tracking down Israeli criminals, and bringing them to justice. This is vital in the effort to hold Israel accountable. May they also turn their sights on the criminal leaders of the countries of the west who are co-perpetrators of these crimes.
