A casual observer would recognize that Trump is not upholding the Constitution nor is the Republican Party with those Oaths of Office about the Constitution requiring Trump to uphold the Constitution.

Another Mehdi annihilation!

I came away from this debate having my opinion of Knowles as a smug twat confirmed.

Dartmouth students clapping at Michael's too cute little jokes was more annoying than the coughing. So many lies from Michael and whataboutisms.

Don't watch this with headphones on. I had to stop listening because someone was coughing into a mic the entire time.

Brynn Craffey's avatar

I couldn’t get through it due to the coughing.

Richard B D's avatar

That drove me nuts! All the microphones in the room were on ALL THE TIME. MUTE THEM when not being used. It was tough to get through it, but glad I stuck with it!

Team Zeteo's avatar

Apologies for this. Unfortunately this was not recorded by Zeteo so there wasn’t much we could do. It does somehow improve in the second half.

Richard B D's avatar

In no way did I think it was Team Zeteo's fault, clearly you got the feed directly from the room and whoever was monitoring the microphones did a poor job of muting! Great debate, however. Mehdi knows his stuff and lives in reality, so was the clear winner!

Mr. Hasan's debate style is what drew me in to Zeteo in the first place. Always respectful, sharp, factual, calm, informative. It's always my hope that after debating him, the opposition will walk away from the debate having learned something. But notice how Republicans are constantly having to evade/ignore direct questions that make them uncomfortable? I mean, this is a common tactic for ALL political parties, but doesn't it seem to have become more than commonplace nowadays as Republicans struggle to protect their chosen idol in the White House? Some questions that, just a decade ago, were easy to answer - are suddenly questions that draw silence or deflection? "Did Trump lose the 2020 election?" Something so simple, so easy, so factual is met with silence premeditated on the FEAR of appearing to contradict Trump? It still amazes me the hold he has over people even when it comes to pure facts, even when these people - like Knowles - know with 100% certainty what the answers to such questions are.

What is now a given is that the USA is now an isolationist state ruled by a mentally incompetent dictator who has cowed his subjects. His subjects are just looking at their screens. The dictator rules and conducts affaires of state at the whim of his Jewish backers who manipulate him with laughable ease. The American people are bedazzled by the dictator’s golden charisma. A sad mockery of the dreams of the country’s founding idealists. It is time the sane world began to construct a new understanding of freedom democracy and equality among states and people. Trump and his enablers are showing the world that the USA is a failed experiment.

The Iran War That Netanyahu Started

Hegseth abruptly ended a DOD presser today(https://bit.ly/4d41cgo) when he began being questioned about the Jewish military state having begun the Iranian war and pulled the US military into it Why isn’t the MSM and cable channels covering this obvious issue? Could it be that our “strongman” dictator leader can’t admit that he was duped into an illegal unpopular war?

Of course Kegseth the dry drunk that he is, denied Netanyahu’s involvement In Cheeto’s decision to launch this military war with a Jewish Zionist, although according to internal White House memo’s Netanyahu convinced the feeble weakminded American leader that the war was in the best interest of both countries (Obama has gone on the record saying that Netanyahu had tried to convince him to militarily take on Iran)

So Cheeto got sold a used car that turns out to be a lemon and he has no way out And now in the above presser Kegseth gets pushed to help the American people understand why the US military operation is off again and on again at the behest of Netanyahu

It’s becoming increasingly clear that Netanyahu and his fascist Zionist country is calling the shots and the hoodwinked moron that WE the People have as a leader is going along for the ride

Watching Mehdi bring receipts is a joyous experience. Thank you for all that you do. 😀❤️ Shame I had to listen to your smarmy opponent as well.

I really wanted to watch this to the end. Unfortunately, the constant coughing by multiple people seems to indicate it was recorded in a COVID ward.

Anybody know the poll results after the debate?

Shmilio's avatar

They talk about it at the end of the video. I don't have the pull question on hand , but at the beginning of the video they start off with a poll about Trump's lawlessness. Something like 22% agree that Trump is lawful (Michael's position) and 78% say he's not (Medhi). At the end they redid the poll and it moved to 28% to 72%. (WTF)

I don't watch debates like this at all so I could be wrong and there's another poll somewhere. I looked online last night I didn't see anything.

Shmilio's avatar

Excellent job Medhi! Thanks for this.

I am just shocked and appalled that the 22% poll went to 28%. WTF!!!! I don't watch live debates, but the crowd seemed to have loved you, excellent points, but what gives???? Sheeeesh

What is up with the incessant coughing?!

Who won the debate?

There was a TON of crap about "you're taking him out of context" after Charlie Kirk was killed, as I watched this, I just kept thinking, Mehdi is showing you what "context" really means, Michael Knowles rarely (if ever) actually backed up anything he was saying.

GingerLee's avatar

I'm surprised that the students increased their votes that trump had upheld the constitution.... I would love to know why 6% swayed to "yes"..what did they hear that I didn't ? or did they prefer the passionless smugness of Knowles vs Mehdi's passion? No surprise where this Italian 80yo hippie grandma/nonna stands stand
