As for the presidential candidates, he didn't bring up Andy Beshear of Kentucky who consistently ranks as the most popular Democratic governor. Also, Pritzker has been consistently strong in opposing trump; nothing wrong with a wealthy person who has real principles.
Not a fan of any of these potential candidates. I did find it interesting though, that in today’s issue of Haaretz (an Israeli newspaper that leans “left”), Pritzker was quoted as saying that he “‘long ago abandoned the pro-Israel lobby AIPAC,” arguing that it had ‘leaned much more to the right and much more pro-Trump.’” He also, according to the paper, criticized Netanyahu for pushing Trump into a war with Iran. Not sure we can trust any of these potential candidates to support an embargo on arms, for example, regardless of the softening of some of the rhetoric. (Harris, even after her defeat, continues to criticize anti genocide protesters). What it does show, I think, is that the public’s increasing opposition to support for Israel is finally being felt by the Democratic Party’s conservative and main wing. Whether it will act on that new-found knowledge is another thing entirely. It will continue to try to manipulate us though.
