How about healthcare as a human right for every US citizen instead of allowing thousands of families to go bankrupt every year because they cannot pay their medical bills? Or free college tuition instead of sending all of our students and their families into debt for life? Or having a permanent tax credit for children to wipe out child poverty once and for all? Or funding public housing the way it ought to be funded instead of leaving tens of thousands of people homeless in our major cities?
