the man needs a straight jacket! It seems like since we seniors hit 75+ we get this test, or a variation, Every year when getting a Medicare annual physical. I'm 82, and it's easy, and I'm not running around repeating myself non-stop

You are not because you have humility, self confidence and faith. He has none of that.

Unfortunately, the people who need to be educated about this "impossibly difficult" dementia screening test will not read this nicely written piece.

I am starting to wonder, as a former medical school faculty member (internal medicine and pharmacology), whether the sleepiness, the bruising on his right hand, and the MRI (most likely of his brain), indicate that he is ALREADY receiving Leqembi for his dementia...and that everyone around him -- from the Olympic Gold Medal Lying Champion Press Secretary to the entire Cabinet and including the Navy Commander who is the White House physician -- are covering up and lying.

I suspect he's a drug addict. So recalibrate with that in mind. Since the 80's he's consumed Ketamine and Cocaine. I've heard, correct me if I'm wrong, that over use of Ketamine makes you lose control of your bowels. Also the popular method of users was in the back of the hand. Bruises anyone? People that worked with him on his stupid Apprentice show said they had to take him away and change his diaper and wash him down. The guy given this job was nicknamed "Wet Wipes" also during his first admin way back in the previous century or so it seems. Drugs like Adderol and others were dispensed frequently. That's not "cognitive decline" it's drug abuse. I wonder if that Honduran ex prez knew and had to be pardoned, or else! He definitely exported Cocaine for the drug cartels, that's why he was sent to prison until donnie little dick "pardoned" him. They also said that he didn't even buy the generic brands so the cost of approximately $96,000 was spent and misspent as they never updated who got it, when or why! It's also well documented that little Donnie Jr was a user. At the bottom of it all is that they needed more cash so now he's managed to do that with legal bribery.

His daily public blathering, especially at women, and his nightshift posted rants are the real test. Practicality every appearance he makes worldwide shows everything you need to know.

And standing there wearing his FAUX FIFA golden,( "Gold. Good. So shiny. "), "peace medal" as if it's really... beyond pathetic.

I'm sure it took him a long time. Do they time it? Or can he sit there until he gets it right?

Keep at it Zeteo.

Did he really pass or did he simply pay off the person who administered the test?

Just because trump says he aced the test does not mean it is the truth. It is also possible he was told by the tester that he passed it to avoid one of his tantrums. Either way the story to the public is that dear leader is just fine. We are to deny what our eyes and ears tell us in service to trump.

My aunt has dementia and I accompanied her twice to see her doctor and watched her take this test. She stumbled on a couple of things the second time and has short-term memory problems so she repeats herself at times, but she has never been incoherent. Based on my absolutely non-medical observation, I'd say rump is way further along the dementia road than a lot of people in assisted living.

Both a lack of judgement and knowledge make his unscripted utterances. verbal and digital often inaccurate, often insulting and many times illegal things to share. Illegal because of issues of security but mostly a lack of discretion, bordering on personal attacks at time. Diplomacy? The man does not know what it means. Put this together with cognitive impairment to know what is right ( and at times what is legal) to speak aloud makes him look incompetent or a fool.

He couldn't pick an ace out of a hole. He can't string a coherent sentence together. He has no interest in doing the job required of a President instead is only interested in grifting and decorating bathrooms and ballrooms.

Note that in the example for the "Delayed Recall" section, the five words to remember are Leg, Cotton, School, Tomato, White. That's consistent with what I was taught in medical school, to select five dissimilar words as a test of memory. You will recall that Trump's famous words to memorize were Man, Woman, Person, Camera, Television. Obviously Man, Woman, and Person are related, and for a television personality, Camera and Television have a strong association. This suggests that the person administering the test doesn't know the proper technique or intentionally made it easier than it's supposed to be.
