Mehdi I do love you but you talk too much and too fast. Please do something about that . With Jim Acosta you hardly let him speak.

It doesn't seem like you "love" Mehdi enough to allow him to speak as he does. He has a lot to say and a limited time to say it. You could do something about it by going to "settings" and slowing the playback speed if you're having trouble absorbing his speaking pattern.

Two words tweeted by Trump, and the killing starts. (At least of us Dems and libs living deep within the MAGA-hate of the Deep South)...

"PURGE DAY!"

This comment is probably unfair and out of line.

Please slow down! I have a hard enough time normally but I’m getting skid marks in what’s left of my already deteriorating ears!

You’re worth hearing but I can’t get it if it burns my sensory strunods on the way in!

At least in theory, Red State cities with high crime should WANT the troops, if crime is actually the issue.

As well, wouldn't Trump be MORE concerned about crime among supporters, and protecting them (as they were protected(sic) from Covid...except all the dead in mass graves, of course.)

Obviously, a question the media is unlikely to ask, because Trump just might embarass them, and they might not be "invited" next time.

The End Of The Line For Fiat Currencies (from Macleod Substack)

The shape of the next financial crisis is now becoming apparent. Rising bond yields, driven by increasing risk in the light of G7 government debt crises in the four major currencies will have the following consequences:

· A collapse in equities, the suddenness of which will be exacerbated by sudden awareness of the knock-on consequences

· Liquidation of malinvestments in the private sector, leading to insolvencies, unemployment, and potential banking distress

· Panicked collateral liquidation of equity stocks by banks as loans become uncovered

· Economic slumps in all the G7, leading to lower tax revenues and higher welfare costs leading to soaring budget deficits, which in turn tightens the bond trap screws

· A doom loop of rising bond yields, interest rates, deficits, collapsing financial collateral values, deepening economic slumps, corporate failures, and banking crises Rinse and repeat, again and again

· Financial and systemic contagion between G7 nations will ensure that none of them escape the collapse, and individual national remedies will be overwhelmed

In a nutshell, the entire system of credit embodied in fiat currencies faces the prospect of a rapid collapse

Chicago should use police to enforce local gun laws on any individuals that come into his state with guns. Check for appropriate licensing. Enforce rules against open carry and automatic weapons or large capacity magazines. Comfisxate weapons, file charges, assign court dates, etc.

I’ve made it my mission to let people know Texas is run by “red state” politicians, but we do not have a “red state” population. We are purple to pink as we are a majority minority state with Latinos, Black Texans and Asians out numbering White Texans.

How can they, and all the rest of the media, be ignoring the grift. It is unprecedented, illegal, expressly against the Constitution, and is a vast transfer of wealth and power to a dictator..

The loonies of the parties have realigned with most (all?) of the loonies coalescing on the right. This results in the asymmetry. Loonies care about weird stories normies don’t.
