Flood those meetings with public comment to not give or to revoke permits to operate or revoke business licenses. This is helpful and effective BEFORE they start building. Involve your health department and rag on your Better Business Bureau until they join your side in protests. Call community meetings with your City Council Members and invite water district officials to testify on water need and effect on water quality. Chemicals are released that make this water unusable. Call on national organizations , like Food and Water Watch to testify and get the press involved. You and I cannot drink dats , so this risk to us has NO returns or rewards for us.
