“Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.” — Mark Twain

No, no, no, why Medhi? You’re a top tier journalist (and human) and she’s so unserious.

Well done, Mehdi. Someone needs to call out statements made with no factual basis.

I’m shocked/appalled by the beeper comment and worry about you - please be careful- these people are not well.

Please just explain why people value Destiny's and Palin's opinions on anything?

I couldn’t watch. Medhi, why are you doing this crap? Jerry Springer has passed on. Guess you could claim the mantle if that’s your thing.

It's not just beneath you; it DIMINISHES you.

The only part of that train-wreck worth seeing was at 26:40

Piers: "Let me get a word in."

Mehdi: "Nope."

The comic relief was brilliant, but it was needed. And the reason it was needed, was to break the tension of that tragic train-wreck.

Who is meant to benefit? YOUR audience gains no information that we didn't already have, THEIR audience is IMMUNE to information, and the supposedly-existent "undecided" voter can't possibly extract meaning from a format like that.

Seriously.

Mehdi Win-Every-Argument Hasan vs Sarah Word-Salad Palin?

Why would you put yourself in HER weight-class? And why do you keep legitimizing Piers fvcking Morgan?

I'm on the autism spectrum and I can't tolerate the chaos when everyone tries to talk at the same time, and then they raise their voices to "win" the conversation. I can't follow the line of thought because there are too many lines of thoughts. This is the reason I don't watch CNN, or similar, panels. I watched for about 10 minutes and then had to turn it off. However, I realize that what I like and dislike is not what other people like and dislike. I also can't stand "reality" shows but millions of people like them. The decision to participate is Medhi's decision and, given the circumstances, he holds his own and does a good job in a chaotic situation.

PS--I agree that this is beneath you, Mehdi. I can understand that an opportunity to debate Sarah Palin might be intriguing on some weird level but it's, again, beneath you. And then there was all of the yelling which is so very counterproductive and leads to nothing.

I tried to watch, really I did. But 30 seconds of Sarah Palin, and I turned it off. Why oh why would you waste your time (and probably destroyed some brain cells at the same time) with someone as proudly stupid as Palin?? She had nothing but meanness and stupidity to add to the 2008 campaign; she is still trying to make herself relevant again, when in reality no one gives a f*cking sh*t what she thinks about ANYTHING. And apparently, all that money she raked in from Fox and where ever she managed to grift, couldn't pay for a decent plastic surgeon.

Sarah Palin? That's some pretty low-hanging fruitcake.

Good job, Mehdi, and thank you for walking into that vipers' nest (apologies to snakes everywhere for the comparison) and comporting yourself with the dignity you displayed. Looking forward to Pierce being on your show.

Good God, if Harris put an opening racist comedian at any of her rallies the GOP would go ballistic.

Piers says people gravitate toward Trump - yeah, just like they gravitate to an accident, you have to look even though it's terrible! Are people voting for an entertainer or a politician. Piers speaks a lot of nonsense. They packed out Madison Square Garden because of the freak factor they wanted to witness.

Is Piers Morgan a citinzen of the US of A? Why waste time on this man who is spewing right-wing talking points? Sarah Palin? There are no words.

Mehdi shouldn't have participated in this one. This was just a shout-fest. I didn't agree with Mehdi's take on the economy. Numbers aside, I don't hear anyone saying they're doing better than they were 4 years ago. I'm not saying Democrats or Republicans are to blame. Just stating from what I've been experiencing the past few years.
