The government is staking its entire case to deport Khalil on whether Rubio “personally” thinks the Columbia student protest negotiator would “compromise” US foreign policy.
Zero moral compass, zero guiding principles, zero backbone. This man contradicts himself at every turn. All so he can have the privilege of “secretary” in front of his name? A true sellout to dear leader.
What a sad, little man Marco has become. He used to stand for something. I once considered him a viable candidate for President. Now he stands for nothing, except maybe the persecution of those who don’t conform to the Trump authoritarian vision for America. Of course, Mr. Khalil supported the cause of his Palestinian brothers and sisters, and he had every right to do so. All he did was exercise his right to free speech. We must find a way to free this young man, or he will only be the first of a long line of green card holders and citizens who refuse to tout the MAGA party line.
Marco Rubio is a Florida MAGA Republican, there is and has never been anything remotely human about his existence. I have been an antiwar protester since Vietnam, Trump and Rubio make LBJ and Nixon look like humanitarians.
I support Hamas. Israel is a terrorist, welfare state with no right to exist. That's why it uses force against the Palestinians to keep them displaced and occupied from their sovereignty. The Palestinians have the legal and moral right to use the same or greater force than Israel to resist Israel's occupation, displacement, and fragmentation of Palestine and its people, the Palestinian Nakba. US foreign policy supports Zionist occupation of Palestine and the foreign jihadist occupation of Syria. US foreign policy is not legitimate. It is illegal, unconstitutional, and unenforceable. I oppose US foreign policy in the Middle East, and I intend to interfere with US foreign policy in the Middle East if it will support the displacement of native people and attacks on the Arab States in favor of Jewhadis and Jihadis. It is not a moral or legal endeavor that any nation should be engaged in. The White House is the problem and every American should be fighting against it right now.
So under this provision the Secretary of State can decide as a not-rebuttable presumption that a green card holder productively in this country for years can be deported because he protests against the "foreign policy" that we should abandon Ukraine?? Or the "foreign policy" that thinks tariffs are paid for by the exporting company? Or the "foreign policy" that decides that Russia is no longer a cyber security threat?
Does it matter what color the protestor is, or the residents of the foreign country our policy is about? Asking for a friend.
Marco Rubio's personal opinion, or even his opinion as Secretary of State, shouldn't be sufficient as a loophole dodge of the First Amendment right to freedom of speech and assembly. This should definitely be challenged in the courts, through his lawsuit, and deportation proceedings should be halted until the lawsuit is decided. Sounds like another case for the ACLU.
Sub human Marco

Time for everyone who has citizenship privilege to show up!
This demon isn’t even qualified to be in his position !!!!
Funny how those positions attract demons.

Rubio is clearly jealous of Lindsey Graham. I wonder if his knees are up to the challenge.

Like Trump isn't compromising US foreign policy.

If compromising foreign policy is grounds for deportation, then Rubio is duty-bound to kick Donald Trump out of the US as soon as possible.
