I started following him on IG, because of the information he presented and when he started the Gaza Soup Kitchen initiative I was overwhelmed with his and his family humanity, strength and goodness. They everyday prepare hundreds of meals for starving ones both in North and South Gaza and all the family participates. Therefore, I know you put the GoFundMe link, but a full report about the Kitchen would be good to read.
It is amazing that despite everything he continues to try help his people. I recently watched a the film The Olive Trees Weep and in the post screening discussion one of the audience members asked how/why do Palestinians in the West Bank still protest despite the incredible violence and cruelty they face when they do? He was genuinely asking it from a place of awe. Despite the terrible suffering and the punishment for speaking out they continue to resist in every way they can.
