Respectfully, Jill stein is a grifter who is funded by republicans to tank democrats’ chances. There’s a reason Trump complimented Stein. She can say whatever she wants because she’ll never have to follow through with any promises. She is a big part of why Trump won the so called blue wall in 2016. I just hope we’ve learned our lesson since then. It seems there are a lot less Stein supporters this time around, which is good.
Actually your point is very well taken. Although I am lured by her anti-genocide stance, I have heard this before - that she is a grifter - even from a friend who was working on the Cornell West campaign who knows Stein - and of course you are right - Republicans did help her get on the ballot in several of their states - and yes, Trump does says positive things about her which is already a red flag - he knows, like in 2016, she can be the spoiler candidate as she was which helped him win - and Hillary lose - it’s so frustrating - I don’t like Harris position on Israel - she has no “balls” to call Bibi out and to call for an arms embargo - and who really knows what Stein will do - she has no experience in DC - and yes AOC was right - down ballot positions would be much more appropriate for Stein - and Butch ware - who came out of nowhere - has some interesting ideas - his support of Muslims, his background as a Muslim and African History professor - but he is better off running for governor of California in the next gubernatorial election as he mentioned - or even perhaps a more local position like city council member ( I think is more appropriate) - So, yea, you are right but I’m not pleased with Harris on Israel or her foreign policy - it’s not developed and more or less like BIden’s. Domestically she is of course better than Trump - women's reproductive rights, voter repression, the economy, etc. This is all so scary - I might have to succumb to the duopoly and vote Harris - thank you much for reminding me about that dark side of Stein.
I appreciate the comment. Much agreement :) I hope we can stop this fascist from taking over and then press the Harris admin to be harder on Israel and better for Gazans. Bibi isn’t making the ceasefire negotiations easier imo. I think he’s sabotaging them in hopes that Trump is elected so he can “level” Gaza once and for all, bc he knows Trump will let him
