It is a shame that it took being stabbed in the back by the doddering, lying sociopath in the White House (um, what's left of it) for Senator Bill Cassidy (R-LA) to regenerate his spine. Senator, there are countless deceased Republicans and non-Republicans who are rolling over in their graves over the MoU the "lazy warmonger" agreed to. None of the stated aims for starting this illegal, immoral war have been achieved and we are in a far worse position than we were before this foray into futility was launched. The MoU should make us all nostalgic for the JCPOA hammered out during the Obama Administration.

As I understand it, if we were living in a sane country with a parliamentary government, the Iran War debacle and countless other atrocities would have caused the current regime/junta to collapse a long time ago. Elections would be announced and the majority would form a new government.

Of course, our Founders never envisioned that the USA would allow an out of control, petulant man-child narcissist to become POTUS (for the second time!) whose only MO is to feed his fragile ego and line his pockets with our money in defiance of the emoluments clause of the Constitution. Senator, these folks are surely rolling over in their graves too.

Still the comments coming from him and others seem to be calling for more bombing and warmongering. Sigh πŸ˜”

Thank you for acknowledging Juneteenth. Tyrump 45 was the worst person to ever become president, but he didn't do as much damage as Reagan. Tyrump 47 is even worse than 45 as a person due to senile loss of impulse control, and the damage is hard-to-believe. If this keeps up he will eclipse Reagan as the worst ever. On the hopeful side, the damage he is doing is so obvious and telling on the majority of voters that it may inspire reform and recovery from the long arc of destruction that goes back to 1980.

There is also the probability that Iran will declare the ceasefire null and void because Israel keeps violating it. And, you gotta love Brazilian President Luiz InΓ‘cio Lula da Silva, warning Trump not to meddle in the midterm elections.

β€œLazy warmonger” is brutally accurate. Trump starts fires like a tough guy, then looks for the exit once the smoke gets in his own hair. Now Iran knows the bluff, JD Vance gets the mop, and America gets the bill. This was never strength. It was vanity with airstrikes.

Cheeto Is Becoming the 21st Century Neville Chamberlain

What does Neville Chamberlain and Cheeto have in common? Well, Mike Pence says the Iran deal in the form of an Memorandum of Understanding(MOU) is nothing more than appeasement. Shades of the 1930’s. Neville Chamberlain the English right wing prime minister infamously made an appeasement deal with Hitler in September 1938 ceding the Sudentenland of Czechslovakia to Germany hoping that it would stop the madman dictator from invading other countries. But one year later in September 1939 Hitler invaded Poland and was the beginning of WWII. In fairnees to Chamberlain Britain was not militarily capable of confronting Germany at the time which bought time for Britain to eventually succeed.

With only one week left of oil reserves Cheeto realizes that Iran has won and Cheeto admires and sides with winners even if they are on the other side of a conflict. Bullies always run away once confronted. And now that Ukraine has made serious inroads in the war with Russia, Cheeto may be throwing his dictator buddy under the bus, recently pledging support to Ukraine, then of course, backtracking 24h later.

The uniqueness of Cheeto compared to Chamberlain is that he’s a psychopath who is transactional and always ready to appease whether they’re Iranians or Ukrainians. As Mark Twain wrote, history doesn’t repeat itself but it certainly rhymes. Where does this leave Netanyahu? Out in the cold.

There's a very simplified way one can view and explain the current state of affairs in our war against Iran:

C-in-C Donald Trump is one of the bad guys. "Played" by his smarter bad guy buddy Bibi Netanyahu, he ordered US Armed Forces to attack Iran - which posed no imminent threat - without provocation and while engaged in negotiations. In the Nuremberg War Crimes Trial indictment, this was called "Waging Aggressive War". Maybe it's karma, but C-in-C had no strategy for winning, nor for exiting. He just wanted to blow a bunch of stuff up and control more oil. To cut to the chase, his unrealistic expectations were not met, America was against the war and he just flat wanted out, the alternative being to invade with troops on the ground indeterminate outcomes other than skyrocketing our costs in treasure and in blood.

So there you have it. A bad, immoral War begun by a corrupt C-in-C with insufficient thought or understanding of what he was getting us into. Somehow it seems only fitting that he's getting us out with generally considered a bad one, but at least we're out.

Apparently, Reagan's forgotten he's dead.

Trump: lazy, demented, never was smart, war-monger, and soon can be labeled a traitor.

I used to wonder which totalitarian had him on the shorter leash -- Putin or Netanyahu. I think that tie is broken with Orange Blob's statements that Iran should be allowed to have ballistic missiles.

β€œ Trump effectively won the war”????? Not due what planet your contact lives on or what drugs that person may be taking but it is also quite obvious that that person lives on the left side of the curve or is willfully ignorant….just another asshole buddy….i suspect. Just saying…my opinion.

" America First"......Yeah..right. This entire outcome is the direct consequence of Trump putting his insatiable narcissistic ego first above all else....his pathological desire/co.pulsion, to somehow best President Obama...what ever the costs. It's a FAIL.

I'd be interested to see Zeteo publish a piece on why Iran is so steadfastly supporting Lebanon but crickets on Gaza...
