One factor missing from the broadcast was the incomprehensible influence of AIPAC and other pro-Zionist organizations on the American Congress. In checking the contributors and the amounts given to candidates for office, I find the most vociferous government supporters of IDF excesses are those who show significant AIPAC donations to their war chests. Otherwise...Great Show.

The Intercept had a recent expose - https://theintercept.com/2024/05/23/aipac-donor-stephen-rosedale-idf-netzah-yehuda/

We all need to find out more about this Stephen Rosedale, how he makes his $$ and the landscape of challenging this ability to funnel American $$ to feed a vicious, violent religious war when MOST Americans do not want it. We also need a psych profile on these people, a la Gabor Mate's diagnosis of this ongoing trauma dumping onto the rest of us, and how we can stop these people from wreaking such havoc on civilization, eroding the rule of law, advancing cruelty, brutality and endless violence simply because they have $$ alongside their trauma.

Took a Quick Look at a site covering his receiving of an honor for his service to the Ohio VA but I didn't see anything especially alarming about him or his concern for veterans. Did I miss something? If so, would appreciate your pointing me in the correct direction.

Seems he is behind a venture fund that supports a lot of Israeli startups in biotech. (I just googled it) As the article says, he funds a nonprofit "Friends of Nahal Haredi" that legally donates to one of the most notoriously vicious IDF units, The Netzah Yehuda. As the article says, he is the owner of a number of clinics or medical services types of businesses, so that's how he makes his money. Then that $$ goes on to support mass murder/torture of Palestinians.

It would be hard to argue otherwise when you hear Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant’s infamous words: “I have ordered a complete siege on the Gaza Strip. There will be no electricity, no food, no fuel, everything is closed. We are fighting human animals and we act accordingly.”

the main problem for biden and america, is that the american government is awash with personnel that have taken AIPAC monies[or from other pro-israel donor groups of which there are many], and therefore bought influence...it means that for biden to move against israeli is fraught with difficulties , for if biden moves against israeli, that those american-israeli billonaires&donors will move heaven&earth[otherwise known as shitload of cash] to move agaisnt biden, and ruin his election, likewise this same donors will probably move that cash to support his opponent[the republicans and trump]. Its why is impressive that bidens brief reprimand against israel and bibi[with the rebuke] of that 2000lbs bombs was so major [although appearing minor] was so tough for him to make :(

True and sad what you are saying. Money is destroying American politics and making it totally untrustworthy. I have no faith in our politicians anymore. Except the few that are against it. AOC and the squad for instance.

This is really a question, not a comment. After reading an article about this floating dock or pontoon bridge or whatever it was the US has built in Gaza, I took a little tour of the area on Google maps...the photo which was published of a bunch of trucks lined up on this 'dock' showed very clearly in the background what could only be a refinery or storage facility, quite LARGE with tanks and chimneys. In my 'travels', I could find nothing like that except about 20 miles NORTH of the Gaza northern border, a terminal I believe for LNG or something which is in Israel. Can anyone explain this to me? It looks as though at the oceanfront of the Khan Younis area, there was an attempt to build something like Khan Port, but not much seems to have happened there, or it was all covered in sand...just very curious. Said l lot more than this to friends and relations, and we are all curious about it all!
