But the issue is that all the government dysfunction that has led to Cheeto’s lowest polling on all governance issues is at the feet of ALL Nazi Republicans not just on their titular head The Nazi Republicans are completely complicit in the corruption taking place in Washington, unwilling to put guardrails up on an out of control executive branch The party of “law and order” is anything but confronting lawlessness They have lost their moral compass
So it's not enough to complain about Cheeto It's time for accountability of the Nazi Republicans that are involved in the Cheeto organized crime family and the blatant corruption in government Of course the solution is to vote these corrupt politicians out of office
I would absolutely argue that as Trump slides into the shitter as the economy implodes and he has to be blamed on a completely unnecessary war, the democrats are completely unprepared for the moment! Agree The difficulty for the country is that we have a 2 party system and both are dysfunctional one worse than the other It's WE the People who will have to right the ship Join Indivisible and support their candidates
I take as The Most Important Warning for Americans is: do not mistake one election victory, or one D-President with Senate and House as the triumphant end of the movie!
We ca't wait for November and then go home. We can't elect a lot of really good candidates and then go home.
The oligarchs have over-played their hand, but it's going to take years and years to cut them down to size. We have to rebuild everything, and they'll be doing everything they can to undermine us.
Jared Kushner is being paid $25 million a year by the same country that lobbied Trump to start the Iran War. The man negotiating the ceasefire is on the payroll of the country that profits from the war continuing. I followed the money so you don't have to. It's worse than you think.
I wish the title of the article used the word fascism, not the far right. The examples of Poland, Hungary, Brasil - they do not seem appropriate for the US. Surely Poland and Hungary did not witness masked hooligans in war uniforms - read ICE - spread terror in their cities. Or build concentration camps called detention centres, as in the US, the country that already had one of the highest incarceration rates in the world. Neither did these countries start devastating wars with crimes against humanity, or directly enabled a genocide. They were not run by the people who organised insurrections, or having been part of huge pedophile rings. Brasil under Bolsonaro may have been going in that direction, but still, it Is not the same as the country in which one of the two major parties has been becoming, slowly but surely, a fascist organisation for more than 45 years - read the GOP. I believe that Italy under Mussolini is a better example to worry about. I hate to be Cassandra, and for one will be first to admit of being wrong, but it is better to worry than to be sorry - everything points out to Trump and his cronies not being able to stop their murderous charge.

I think in the US we can look to the history of the Civil Rights movement, whose activists understood that the struggle would be long and needed to be multifaceted, involving protests, legal challenges, boycotts and above all community organizing. Today, joining a local branch of Indivisible is a great place to take action, not only through their protest marches but their organizing for food banks, immigrant support and local issues. Or join any local group that meets your interests
