The GoP only cares about money, power and control and nothing else.

This takes me back to when Chris Rock was asked about Tupac Shakur's "assassination."

Such an irony! Almost as ironic as Charlie's favorite constitutional amendment, the 2nd, being used to silence his demagoguery.

Already blaming "the left" when they have not caught the perp! What GREAT security is being provided to high-profile people! No one saw this person on the roof ' Butler all over again.

Until this country gets GUNS under control, this scenario will play out again & again!

How convenient that the shooter is not caught? Typical GOP, they are using his death to advance their agendas. I wonder who benefits from killing Kirk?

I would like someone to point out the absurdity of being able to carry a gun in public that can allow someone to get that close to an event with a lethal weapon‼️

"Empathy is a made up word" - Charlie Kirk. If Charlie Kirk had his way, none of us would give a tinker's dam about . . . Charlie Kirk. My question now is this: is it still too soon to talk about guns after the political assassinations in Minnesota last June?

From the NY Times ("Live Updates: F.B.I. Releases Images of Person of Interest in Kirk Killing"):

"A preliminary and unverified report circulated inside the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives found that ammunition recovered with the rifle used to kill Charlie Kirk appeared engraved with statements “expressing transgender and anti-fascist ideology.

A senior law enforcement official with direct knowledge of the investigation cautioned that the report had not been verified by A.T.F. analysts, did not match other summaries of the evidence and might turn out to have been misread or misinterpreted."

Human Decency, Compassion, and Empathy Is What Binds Us

If there is anything that comes out of Cheeto’s Nazi America is that for once in a long while WE the People are challenged to be and say who WE are WE are the citizens of a country that protect human decency, compassion, and empathy WE stand for our fellow human beings whether they are immigrants or not WE speak out when we see our fellow human beings being hurt or when they are looked at condescendingly

And WE the People stand up against a Nazi SCOTUS and all Nazis who want to look the other way and demand that WE the People are all created equal This is America and WE the People demand that hate does not exist And when WE see injustice and exhibitions of hate WE stand up to the bullying and intimidation because that’s who WE are!! Everyone else is a statement of indecency and immorality They can’t help it because that’s who they are

Mehdi said, at least twice, in the conversation about the distance from where the Venezuelan boat was destroyed by the US military to the US was 2000 miles. As far as I can tell, it was less than 500 miles to Puerto Rico and about 1500 miles to Florida.

Please, I find the use of the term "Squad" for these very capable young women an unflattering means of setting them apart and encouraging criticism from the right.

Just like you guys to make a tragedy of a political murder worse by spreading falsehoods. Let the man rest in peace. I did not like him but he is dead.

As a Christian I may not like someone, but we believe that no one deserves to be murdered.

Trump and ALL of MAGA are malignant narcissists! It’s NO surprise that their response to Kirk’s killing is divisive and nefarious. It’s consistent with their anti-social personality disorder and sadism. They’re ALL sociopaths.

Hey check it out, the guy was using a Mauser rifle. Doesn't show he was far right, but you gotta have an "interest" in some German engineering to skip over other brands for that I think.

Tolerance, empathy, accountability......qualities both Mehdi and Ilhan appear to possess and ones that are woefully lacking in so many others.

No one should have to endure a senseless death but let us not rewrite events to suite our own narrative.

Loved the interview. I am honored that my question was considered. My prayers are with our politicians and their families—that they may stay safe and be kept from harm.
