A sure fire way to stop the Israeli onslaught in Gaza would be to make the Israelis pay for their own weapons. Now there' a novel thought. Instead of always relying on other countries to fork out, let them pay for their bombs. That should stop the fighting right away.

Posted it to FB again and same thing happened again. FB is singling out this Zeteo episode / post. I posted other Zeteo material and none were ever removed as spam, etc.
A big critique on the whole “will Harris or Trump be better/worse for Palestinians” is that it gives up on changing the position of the current administration. This defeatist position means that for the next 18 weeks until the new administration takes office, US policy will not change, and thus Israel’s actions will not change. With an average 500-1000 Palestinians dying directly from the war per week, with 3-10 times that dying indirectly through starvation, disease, dehydration etc. it means another 50,000-100,000 Palestinians will die. Students, progressives, humanitarians should not accept such a defeatist position. The same applies for the wars in Sudan & Myanmar.
I think it’s interesting that we give Israel money as well as bombs. And they send the money back via‘s AIPAC to undermine our democracy.
I can see a very similar metaphor in something that was called to circle of poisons. That’s when our regulators stopped Americans from using pesticides, but allowed the makers of pesticides to sell them to the world who produce foods using those pesticides that we bought for our citizens.
We need to get foreign countries out of our democracy and clearly I agree, we should not be giving Israel bombs or money.

To have leaders like ex President and Vice President questioning the integrity of each other rather than challenging each other intellectually is a worry. Their almost silence on the ongoing Genocide in Gaza, the mayhem in the West Bank and competing homage to the State of Israel is a Foreign policy failure. Americans are being offered a leader which is six of one and half a dozen of the other.
