Israel is bloodthirsty and America never saw an atrocity it couldn't fall a$$ backwards into. I hate this so much.

It's Wizard of Oz stuff to think that Harris will take any of the the steps that Rula Jabreal suggested at the very end. From "I'm speaking" to refusing to give SUPPORTERS of Palestinian origin two minutes at her coronation party - it is patently obvious that she cannot imagine a political landscape involving anything other than toeing the AIPAC line. Ultimately if this costs her the White House, the Dems will only have themselves to blame for persistently refusing to see the writing on the wall.

Harris is Vice President!

If you have questions of Biden’s administration I think you would do better contacting Biden.

If you would like to get Kamala’s opinion on this matter it’s fair to ask her .

But!

From what I’ve read and heard Israel is informing the White House what their immediate plans are and not asking for permission, but they are giving briefings about actions that are ongoing

There's nothing to ask! It is patently obvious that in substance, there is no daylight between genocide Joe killer Kamala and despot Don to back unfettered Israeli impunity to the hilt. They're merely continuing in the footsteps of their predecessors. US taxpayers foot the bill to maintain and expand the occupation and the system of apartheid that entrenches it because their elected representatives have been beholden to the Israel lobby for decades. It's just that in the past year, any notion of 'plausible deniability' of this well established fact has completely evaporated.

An example of the message: "America has always had and WILL always have a special relationship with Israel. We stand with their right to defend themselves to protect civilian life. We've supplied billions of weapons for that defense. Netanyahu has instead used those weapons not to defend Israeli lives, but to take the lives of innocent civilians in Gaza. In the West Bank. In Lebanon. In Yemen. In Syria. Can you imagine what Israeli hostages and their families must be going through while Netanyahu systemstically destroys any chance of their survival? This has to stop. We cannot sustain this tremendous loss of life to protect a corrupt leader who was to be on trial before this conflict began, one who refuses diplomacy and seeks to abuse American resources to remain in power."

I was going to vote for Harris/Walz... but I am starting to change my mind. Someone explained the national 5% rule for the Green Party. My vote in CA does not matter, so I think it may be the only way not to throw it away completely. For all that Harris/Walz stand for everywhere else, I am all for it. But on Human Rights - this is a shit show. They will grandstand on Human Rights when it comes to China, but make excuses as Israel bombs its way through the Middle East and destroys thousands of lives, invoking generations of suffering.

I just sent a message to Harris Tuesday pleading for to give me something I can believe she's not for genocide because so far she has only used the same dehumanizing language!

Harris has to separate herself Today from the Biden administration's death-dealing behavior, illegal by U.S. law itself, not forgetting international law. She has to make the move at once, or Trump will be the next president. There is no doubt about that--and Hubert Humphrey is the prime example of misplaced "loyalty" to the then president. She has to move before lunch time today or she loses. That's it.

She's a lawyer, a former prosecutor, and she isn't stupid. She knows the law matters that it provides the essential structure for all societies. She can't turn her back on either the law or common decency and get elected to the presidency.

Appreciate the informed, intelligent discussion today and so often. Having followed Zeteo since inception I've just became a paid subscriber after listening to the broad discussion and urgent, coherent concern by Mehdi and Rula Jabreal. Critical times. Thank you.

Speechless except to say Israel and the Western colonial powers, which of course includes the US, created Hamas and Hezzbollah. Btw, how are we defining terrorists? If it is a definition that does not include the Western powers and Israel, then it needs to be revised.

I agree with all the comments. I thought Kamala had a real chance of winning in November, but now I am terrified that she will lose because of these developments, and her “stupid” refusal to help Palestinians. I know this will sound like some crazy MAGA conspiracy, but does anyone else think that Trump may be talking to Netanyahu and encouraging him to make this situation so much worse? I would put nothing past the guy’s willingness to win at any cost.

Netanyahu is playing on the Maga Republican chess board to make sure trump wins... no matter what that cannot happen.... all of these countries will be desimated and the US will no longer be a democracy.. when you have more money than you can ever use the only thing left is power so we are heading back to the dark ages .. netanyahu truly wants to have ocean front property for the very wealthy probably for strategic value as well

I feel numb, shocked and appalled about what is now happening in Lebanon and Biden say he didn't know this was going to happen. (I was flawed by the callousness of the pagers blowing up. That $&@% was freaking crazy!) I am also having difficulty commenting and finding the right words. I never heard of Rula Jabreal. Kudos to Zeteo for bringing her to my attention.

Please do not forget that America's support of Israel is because of corruption. AIPAC has bought Biden and Congress with Millions of dollars

That is right, it doesn't matter who is in power. The whole election funding system needs to be fixed or this trend towards oligarchy continues. AIPAC has managed to stay under the radar but NRA, Pharma, securities and investments are all part of this

Israel has gone batshit crazy with the U.S. weapons and the maniacal fawning by Congress and Biden... marching the U.S. to war... again.
