The Democratic Party must start planning now to begin investigations and prosecutions of Trump's regime. No more Merit Garland shilly-shallying. They must begin immediately.

Garland did his job, you didn't when you either protester the vote, voted third party or whatever and allowed Trump to win. If the black woman you refused to vote for had won, he would be in jail. Blame yourself because many of us do.

Alas, i am not a citizen of your country, just of the world. Whatever happens in the USA affects everyone, but the rest of us cannot vote. If Canadians had had a vote, Ms Harris would have won - as would Al Gore long before her.

I know the feeling, it is maddening that people vote like this just for a win.

Really? Garland did his job? "Justice delayed is justice denied, and caution in the face of corruption becomes complicity". We needed urgency, clarity, and courage. Instead, we were given hesitation. Democracy demands more. To protect it “at any and all costs” is not rhetoric, it is the duty of every leader who swears an oath to the Constitution. When the foundations of freedom are shaken, half-assed measures are not enough. History will remember not only those who attacked democracy, but also those who failed to defend it with the strength the moment required.

He was building a case against a man who always escaped the law all you clowns had to do was vite correct and none of this would have happened. You failed in your duty to protect democracy at all costs and are looking for someone else to blame so you aren't seen as the villain.

You are the villain. And we will make sure history remembers you for protesting a black woman for President and allowing fascism to take place because we didn't choose who you wanted. We will ensure you get ALL THE CREDIT WITH MAGA.

Are there still tourists who want to visit the US? Let's stay and enjoy spending our money in our 'shithole' countries and leave Trumpland until he gets the boot.

Being a folically challenged male, I am extremely embarrassed at how beautiful Pressley appears - and smart too - another embarrassment.

It’s striking to watch House Democrats suddenly find their voice when it comes to media mergers or Trump’s overreach, yet remain almost entirely silent as this administration marches us toward another disastrous intervention in Venezuela. When Democrats speak up only to posture against Trump—but not to oppose the underlying foreign-policy machinery that both parties have enabled for decades—it starts to look a lot less like resistance and a lot more like a uniparty consensus on war.

It’s the same pattern I’ve been writing about: loud moral outrage when it’s politically convenient, and near-total quiet when it comes to challenging the bipartisan assumptions that keep America on a permanent war footing. If we’re drifting toward conflict in Venezuela, the public deserves more than performative letters—we deserve an actual opposition willing to say “no” to another intervention.

The Dems will 'soon be out for blood' today is a good day. They can practice NOW. Delusional Dem, thinking there will be a later to be 'out for blood'.

I think the Democrat strategy of letting people enjoy the fruits of their vote is working perfectly. I don't know why progressives were so hostile about the lack of fight when they themselves did nothing but try to bully others, namely black and brown people, to fight. Almost like our blood is a stepping stone to their glory in the aftermath.
