Nope. The Dems made the wrong moral choice by genociding their people, their loved ones, their family and friends. But lovely to see the mask come off to expose the latent anti-Arab racism and Islamophobia lurking just beneath the surface waiting to erupt as it did with this comment.

Once it became clear that team blue was going to lose, it was only a matter of time before the masks came off the 'vote blue no matter who' crew. In many ways, they're the mirror image of the bigoted MAGA fascists, only capable of pointing fingers and blaming anyone and everyone.

This specimen of asininity that I've been having this exchange with exposes the sheer hubris of the Dems. The belief that they're 'entitled' to the votes of the minorities (as if we're somehow hostages of team blue) rather than having to earn it. And the moment the going gets tough, the mask comes off (as he himself said, Arabs and Muslims are now on their own). Way to drive them further away from your party!

Over the past two decades, Arab and Muslim Americans have gradually come to realise that neither party really gives a damn about them or their concerns. This was excerbated by the unequivocal support that the US has given to Israel over the past year. They knew full well that they're in a lose lose situation when the choice is Trump and Harris. And they chose to lose with dignity by booting out the administration that's perpetrated a genocide against their loved ones, their friends, their family members, their people in Palestine and Lebanon. Even if it means more hardship for them in the US - because they know full well that regardless of who came into the White House in January, Netanyahu wins and the Palestinians/Lebanese lose.

See if you can follow this:

1. I think Arabs and Muslims are full human beings.

2. Thus, they have free will.

3. These morons (and all who didn’t vote to keep Trump out) made the wrong moral choice.

4. Ergo: fuck them.

You get it now or do you need finger puppets?

I’m presuming the Republicans’ll keep the House, too. We’ll see.

No big deal. Trump will make physics great again and carbon will just instantly become super awesome!

The best part is that he and the entire GOP have no solutions to real problems, so when the failures mount, a whole metric fuckload of internal and external enemies will be needed for blame. An endless fuckload, in fact. I’m sure none of them will be Arab or Muslim. He loves them!

Luckily we’ll have nice new heavily staffed concentration camps lying around for housing subhuman pet-eating rapists before expulsion. Why not increase ROI? Put the traitorous vermin in there till a more permanent solution can be found.

After all, effectively total immunity plus unlimited pardoning power—along with the popular vote and as close to a landslide-mandate as you can get nowadays—leaves him stymied.

We should be just fine.

Pretty easy to follow pal! In one sentence, you're an insolent and insufferable bigot who callously dismisses the deep pain and suffering that millions of Arab and Muslim Americans have been feeling for over a year. So it's futile to expect that you'll be able to follow any of this:

1. Saying you see a group of people as human beings means nothing when you follow it up with all that bile. It's just as vile as folks who berate black or native people for not 'uplifting themselves' while persistently minimizing the role systemic racism has in creating said conditions, and then following it up with "oh I'm not racist, I have black friends." Your bigotry is clear as daylight for everyone to see, but go ahead, bury your head in the sand and deny it all you want.

2. If you really saw them as human beings, then it would've gotten through your thick head months ago that their rejection of the Democrats (exercised freely) comes from a place of grief, of suffering, of pain having seen their loved ones getting blown to bits in Lebanon and Palestine. But you don't see them as human which is why you dismiss their grief and deny their right to even express it through their vote.

3. Further to point# 2, if there's anyone you should be calling a moron, it's Kamala Harris. She had the gall to send Bill Clinton to Michigan to insult grieving Arabs and Muslims, and yet they're supposed to indignify themselves and vote for her? It takes a special breed of self absorbed bigoted moron to not understand how utterly counterproductive that is.

4. I'll take it that by 'fuck them' you mean now they're screwed under Trump and if he comes after Arabs/Muslims you're not going to give a hoot. That's perfectly fine - they knew full well from day one that the Democratic base consists of plenty of bigots in disguise (foxes as Malcolm X called them). You lot, those who share your sentiments, were only ever meant to be fair weather friends on the best of days (and that's being generous). Good on you for taking your mask off, I hope you're breathing easier and feeling better now that you've openly shown your true colours. Be your true authentic self as they say!

If you have even a shred of intellectual and moral honesty in you, then channel your rage at Kamala Harris et al for burying their heads in the sand. Arab and Muslim Americans have been asking for the bare minimum - crumbs - for months now and have been largely ignored and insulted (although I must concede the one or two times they so kindly said some sweet nothings, how fucking generous). She could've done much much more throughout her campaign but chose not to. So it's time for her (and the 'foxes' who support her unequivocally) to put on their grown up pants and take responsibility for their goddamn mistakes.

And as far as Trump goes, what Arab and Muslim Americans may face under him pales in comparison to what their loved ones are facing in Gaza, the West Bank, Lebanon. Dearborn isn't going to be bombed to smithereens. No doubt it'll be tough, but their patience and steadfastness will help them overcome any such challenges too. So why don't you and your fellow 'foxes' piss off and keep your boneheaded bullshit for your fellow bigoted fucktards!

No you fuckwad! If you pulled that pea brain of yours out of the deepest depths of your asshole and actually used it for once, you would've recognised a long time ago that there's no substantive difference between Trump and Harris when it comes to the most pressing issues - the economy, foreign policy and environment (by the way dumbass, substantive means meaningful). Trouble is, blue fascists like yourself are too blinded by your self righteous ignorance to recognise what's been staring at your faces for decades.

Both the Dems and the GOP have been deeply committed to this mercantilist system of corporate welfare that they call capitalism - where ordinary working middle class folks repeatedly get thrown under the bus for the benefit of large corporations and the billionaire class - for decades. Big banks get trillions in bailouts (and they had the fucking gall to use some of it pay themselves bonuses after lighting the entire global economy on fire) while millions of ordinary folks lost their homes, their life savings. Big pharma and big insurance are backed to the hilt to preserve this absurd system that makes it OK to restrict access to healthcare. Billionaires and Fortune 500s get to park massive amounts of wealth in low tax jurisdictions to avoid paying their fair share - yet those bloodsuckers get massive amounts of handouts if and when something goes wrong. So deep is this decades old rot that Donald Trump of all fucking people, born with a silver spoon in his mouth, can actually position himself as a champion for working folks and get away with it! That falls squarely on establishment Dems and Republicans for failing to see the writing on the wall. The ruling class has screwed over the working and middle classes for so long now (real wages have been stagnant for decades - just one indicator) that a billionaire charlatan posing as a populist can win by appealing to the widely held (legitimate) belief that the economy is rigged against them - not once but twice (despite the fact that he's one of those benefitting from this rigged system)! The economy can grow till the cows come home. As long as the benefits accrue disproportionately to the top 1 percent while 40-odd percent live paycheck to paycheck - the side that articulated that resentment better was bound to win (even if he doesn't have the slightest intention to do anything about it). Calling all Trump voters garbage or whatever might make 'snowflake' blue fascist fucktards like yourself feel better. But if you were really interested in stopping Trump, then your lot would have been on the DNC's ass for the last eight years to take much more of the Sanders economic agenda (if not downright castigating them for blocking his nomination twice - when the data clearly shows that Sanders would've runaway with it were he the candidate in 2016). You lot are no different from the fascist wing of the GOP, fail to recognize the taproot of the problem and then go around throwing tantrums and blaming everyone else.

Then there's the neo-imperialist foreign policy of global hegemony which both parties will go to extraordinary lengths to preserve and further. Both parties have backed endless wars, genocide, undermined democracy around the globe, the works for decades. Worse yet, they've acted in downright authoritarian ways to quash opposition to this radical nutjob foreign policy at home (going back to the time of Senator McCarthy). And now you lot are all whining "ohhh democracy at home is under threat" because establishment Harris, who stands for maintaining this quackjob of a policy, lost? Just to be clear, Trump will be exactly the same as far as foreign policy goes. There's no doubt about it. But after squandering ~$4 trillion in Iraq and Afghanistan (which undoubtedly exacerbated the economy problem) and getting nothing for it, Trump was smart enough to realise that saying he's anti-war was enough to defeat team blue's warmongering hack of a Presidential candidate. Harris could've easily recognised the underlying currents and disavowed large parts of the Biden foreign policy for something more pragmatic, more measured but she didn't.

And as far as carbon goes, here's some food for thought. The US military in its deployments and endless wars all over the world emits the same amount of greenhouse gases as 142 countries (population ~2.5 billion) EVERY FUCKING YEAR! Just the military! So stop posturing as some self righteous "ohhhh I care so much about the environment" you blue fascist warmongerer supporting fucktard. To suggest that fracking a little less and using a few more windmills is going to make a significant impact while the war machine rages on unimpeded is a flat out lie. Truth is, even on the environment, there's little daylight between Trump and Harris when you scratch the surface (substantive, remember that word I taught you dumbass). Dems just go after low hanging fruit such as renewable energy or recycling or greenwash their record. Why wouldn't they? There's tonnes of dumbfuck blue fascists like you out there lap up their propaganda.

Open your goddamn eyes for a and stop drinking the establishment kool-aid you dumb fuck. They want you to go around blaming Arabs, Blacks, Latinos - anybody but the powers that be. The establishment Dems and GOP bear the sole responsibility Harris' loss because they recognising the deeper systemic issues that led to this moment (not once but TWICE).

And lastly, one point of information since facts aren't your strong suit - Donald Trump won by over 4 million in the popular, there aren't that many Arab and Muslim Americans registered voters across the country. Even if you're going to blame the 200,000 odd in Michigan, winning the state wouldn't have changed the overall outcome. So you can piss and moan all you want - but if your blue fascist ass has a problem with the result are incapable of taking it up with the hand that feeds you all that kool-aid, then take it up with white folks you fucktard.

Real slow now because I know your identitarian head ganglion can barely take it, but ANYONE who didn’t vote for Harris is an immoral shitstain. Black, white, gay, straight, [insert all possible categories],

Your only move is to say there’s no difference between Trump and Harris, which you obligingly did. Good luck with that.

Meanwhile, tens of thousand of Arabs and Muslims—and millions of other non-nihilists—sucked it up and made the right choice. You’re pissing all over them.

But it’s worth it because I’m sure the Democrats will be cowed into changing their ways by this protest vote.

Politico:

Trump’s first order of business: Reinstate border policies and ‘get back to drilling,’ aide says

A top Trump aide lays out what the president-elect will do right away once he's back in the White House.

Brittany Gibson

BRITTANY GIBSON

11/06/2024, 8:33AM ET

Jason Miller, Donald Trump’s senior adviser, said the president-elect's first order of business after he takes office will be executive actions to "get back to drilling" and reinstate Trump-era border policies.

“All of the secure border policies that we had in place with President Trump, he can simply flip the switch and put those back in place just like they were before. They didn't need an act of Congress,” Miller said in an interview with NBC's "Today" show.

Miller said Trump would use executive actions and other powers of the presidency to also expand energy exploration, which he said would help ease inflation.

Trump’s victory is likely to end up as the largest of his three presidential campaigns and could mark the first time he’s won the popular vote. Miller said Trump's decisive victory is evidence of a new, diverse GOP coalition and will afford the president-elect a mandate to impose his policies.

“This isn't the Republican Party of old. President Trump has completely remade the Republican Party to be the party of the working class,” Miller said. “You think about black voters, Latino voters. ****Think about the Arab American voters in Michigan who rallied around President Trump.**** His win is already starting to show how he can bring that together.”

Print this out, crumple it up, and ram it hard as you can where the sun don’t shine.

You fucking morons did Bibi’s bidding. You did exactly what that worthless fascist genocidaire wanted you to do.

And you think you can browbeat me with “racist!”? Thank you for making me laugh today; needed it. 🙂

Doug Tarnopol, do you recognize white, non-college educated voters as full human beings? Bcuz they are the demographic that have voted in droves to bring Trump to power. They are to blame, not Arab-Americans. Your anger toward one ethnic group is racist and part of the problems we face. Figure out how to channel your anger toward people who actually have real power. We could probably come up with a few more demographic profiles that would fit your own background where the numbers are way higher in Trump support than Arab-American voters. Use actual facts, or be just like the Trumpies and spew your anger based on "vibes."

Doug, you must be pretty new to this issue. Right-wing Israelis and American Jews and Christian Evangelicals have been plotting for this for decades. Trump is just the latest iteration of the entire effort, not the entire cause. If you plan to keep gloating over the profound suffering of people who are profoundly powerless against this stunningly callous ideological amalgamation of power and interests, then I hope you also apply your cruel framework to ALL the voters who voted for Trump and the GOP, per your claim in another post. The suffering of the Palestinians has been going on long before this issue then became such a tangled but spectacular capture of our American democracy and economy. The Palestinians had nothing to do with it. All they wanted was freedom and the ability to have a normal life. They "fought" with the little that they had against global funding of a strange religious/ideological effort that was kicking them out of their homes. And puh-leez, if you're gonna start pointing to the Crusades as a way to justify Zionism like Ben Shapiro, then get your ass out of the Dark Ages. Zionism is a product of the Modern Age. We can't selectively go back in time to the Middle Ages. Americans were told the Palestinians were inherently evil against a group who survived the Holocaust, not knowing that these "terrorists" were just innocent bystanders to a colossal industrial genocide committed by the Germans. Fast fwd to 2024, the Germans - colluding with all the descendants of true antisemites (e.g., the English who wanted Jews out of the UK or Americans who wouldn't let Jews find asylum in America from the Holocaust) - would do anything they could to lay the blame of their spectacular acts of inhumanity on other people altogether. So, Doug - pile on. Your cruel calculus just adds up to "Might makes Right," so why bother being on these comment boards? You're cheering for cruelty. Just tell everyone to accept the terms of conquest - Reason and Humanity be damned.
