I don't think a concession has any real legal value, does it? But I'm glad Mamdani might win!

SCREAMING joy. Love that kept his stance and stood his ground on his policies and Palestine 🎉❤️

Will Cuomo just run as an independent? (Please say no, please say no…)

It might be good if he did and split the vote with Adams, who is staying in the race. That would help Mamdani.

What Did I Do For MY Democracy? The Answer Rests With YOU

We as citizens have an obligation to speak out against the federal government

Expect and insist free and fair elections

DO NOT become cynical about elections

Phone calls matter to legislators

Yard signs matter

Everybody has a townsquare where we can make our voices heard So Engage Don’t shy away from difficult conversations Let them know how you feel about people disappearing off the streets is not OK Taking away medical care from our unfortunate citizens for tax breaks for the uberwealthy

What great news to wake up to! YES! NY says NO to corrupt politics as usual! Maybe there is still hope for America's future! THRILLED!

Mamdani ran a positive campaign, it is certainly bad news for MSM as they are not used to positive campaigns but negative adds.

Godspeed, Mamdani

Mamdani calls himself a Democratic Socialist, which puts him squarely in the normal zone for modern European politics. I notice that both Preem and Mehdi refer to him instead as a Socialist. I think it's an important distinction — many people see socialism as tantamount to communism, whereas democratic socialism is pretty much mainstream left. Is there a good reason to call him something he says he isn't?
