Justice for the assaulted.

But also justice for Palestine.

If they don't follow up the warrants for Netanjahu, this will reek of vested interest...

How is any of this being tolerated? How is no one freaking out and losing their mind? The amount of threat, intimidation, and coercion by Israel is mind boggling

Israel has proven to have no moral compasses and have time and time again been exposed for false flags, honey traps, and flat out mudslinging smear campaigns. I just watched a documentary about a regular civilian P.I / informant in New York who was facing trial for rape. He threatened/ claimed he would pay these two people 20,000 dollars to claim this woman accusing him had impersonated a cop and held them at gunnpoint and robbed them. All to discredit her testimony at the rape trial and hopefully get him out of charges. She spent 7 months in jail until it came out that this was all a set up to diminish her integrity and hopefully get his rape case dismissed. If a regular dude off the street can make such an elaborate set up for revenge then you’ve got to have your head so far up your ass if you think Israel can’t do the same thing. The timing is enough to raise the alarm bells. My only quell with the ICC dude is that he didn’t see the arrest of Netanyahu to fruition. I believe he is innocent. If any one filling his spot thinks they are immune to such nonsense they are not. Wake up leaders. Wake up people. Israel is out of control and if they aren’t coming for your peace of mind, sovereignty and freedom yet you better believe they will be.

I smell Mossad. Such convenient timing. The weaponization of sexual misconduct accusations has long been a tool used by the enemy. Women have every right to be free from unwanted advances, in the work place or anywhere, if life were fair. That said: let's not pretend that women can't be a party to a trap. Mossad ain't just male. Neither is the CIA. Tale as old as time.

I think these women's accusations sound credible. This does nothing to take away from the legitimacy of the judgement the ICC has made against Benjamin Netanyahu and the State of Israel.

of course, israel has nothing to do with the accusations. oy vey.

Fran Carbonaro's avatar

How convenient that accusations of sexual misconduct can be used to silence those who would hold genocidal IsRaHell AND the US accountable while a convicted rapist sits in the WH and Sec of War Hogsbreath wants to inject more testosterone into the military.

The fact that they can get rid of this guy over sexual misconduct, but make another man who has done much worse things to women and minors, as the president of a country, makes me very skeptical of these accusations. It seems like the most powerful choose who they award justice and who they punish

It’s entirely possible that he did these things while simultaneously doing good work on those investigations. The fact that he may be a shitty abusive person doesn’t mean he’s bad at his job.

That being said, this is 100% going to be weaponized. It’s why you can’t let folks like this is positions of power. It’s why you have to create safety for folks to come forward. It’s why you have to take accusations seriously until you can confirm or clear them.

This is why Graham Platner isn’t the nominee anymore: mostly good politics, not a good person.

Fran Carbonaro's avatar

IMHO, Platner was "f*cked over" by both the DNC & RepugniKans. If you tell a vet who suffers from PTSD and is drunk out of his mind that your "glute is tight" . . . well, I think you get it. We'll never know how the conversation ACTUALLY unfolded.

Wes's avatar

Fran, I love you like a sister. It’s tru that he and everyone and their grandma coming for his neck. That’s why we were all skeptical of that first accusation that wasn’t really much of an accusation. This woman was far from a political operative or someone even opposed to his politics.

Your statement there might border on an explanation, but it doesn’t excuse anything. I pulled hard for the issue dude. I wanted him to be a great example for all the toxic dudes in my life that, see? You can still have done shitty things and do the work to be better. Caring about people don’t make you weak.

At a certain point though, you gotta stop excusing stuff. The conversations around the text messages border on something akin to “well, what was she wearing.”

Final thing I’ll say is I’ll tell you what I tell all vets - your PTSD ain’t a get outta trouble free card. It ain’t special, you’re fucked in the head just like everyone else with combat experience. Not all of them go on to be drunk or abusive to regular folk. And trust me, I’ve seen one too many guys try and pull this card and it don't fly with me.

There’s no universe in which someone is “just asking for it.”

Fran Carbonaro's avatar

I grew up with men like this in my Sicilian-American family and the military had nothing to do with it. PTSD can be the result of domestic violence, as well… I don’t excuse expressions of misogyny but women need to “get” that toxic masculinity is PART OF OUR CULTURE and act accordingly! In other words: protect yourselves.

More important than ever that the search for justice continues! The work that the Hind Rajab Foundation is doing to track down and bring Israeli criminals to justice is one that is vital in the effort to hold Israel accountable.  Let us hope they will also turn their sights on the criminal leaders of the countries of the west who are co-perpetrators of these crimes.

Find out what they’re doing here:

I suspect, my position may be unpopular with many people, whose stance I do not fully understand. Are there, should there be moral hierarchies? I don't know what happened or who, if anyone, is telling the truth. What I do know is someone made a choice to go public at that particular moment, which worked to benefit those opposing the work of the prosecutor in the case against the genocidal state of Israel.

As with a number of similar cases, why now? How was it OK to not say something up to that point? What changed? From the outside, the only thing that seems to have changed, at that moment was the political. Did anyone notice that the prosecutor in Ecuador was murdered just the other day? There are serious issues going on. How does undermining the prosecutor help in any way?

I don't get it. This Sarah lady seems like a very well qualified person. She could have simply left her job as soon as she felt unsafe. One would assume that as a lawyer, she would have known what to do as soon as the first instance of sexual misconduct occurred. All these years, Khan was clean and now all of a sudden after arrest warrants got issued, these charges surfaced. Someone needs to follow these women in the next few years. Something tells me they will be living a posh life

Call on Pope Leo XIV to do whatever it takes to save Gaza and stop the bombing, and end the starvation. Let him go to Gaza and stand with the suffering people who are being massacred by Israel and the Western posers. He can go to Gaza right now, and insist aid be allowed in. Then on to the West Bank to end the occupation and apartheid.

Is there anything more important in today's world than this?

I could have guessed this was going to happen when Khan issued the warrant against nytunyahu. They can’t bring a war criminal to justice, and the one who tries they fire him for alleged sexual assault. What is even the point e the ICC?

This is a set up for sure! Awful

The whole thing reeks of Israel and its compounding collection of lies.

Straight out of their regular lie book.

Remember Julian Assange!?

From "inquiry" to "extradition": A "sexual misconduct inquiry by Swedish prosecutors" acted as a politically influenced to served as a convenient tool to keep Assange detained in order to facilitate a path toward U.S. extradition.

And who propagate the accusation? the Epstein class who are Terrorizing the World.
