Yeah, pandemics that screw up normal population growth like those few years (after the election you’re talking about) are a rare event. If you want to keep kidding yourself that Joe Biden crushed it in 2020, you can. Others don’t have to.

*Yawn. 2017, 2018, 2019 saw a decrease. No where did I say Biden "crushed" it. I was responding to your original post stating he "accidentally won" and was "extraordinary lucky." Bye

I’d love to hear how the US population increased from 2016 to 2019, if population growth decreased in 2017, 2018, and 2019 (which it didn’t - a quick Internet search would tell you that it increased each year.) But I don’t want to hear it from you. Bye.

Dude. I already saw your deleted comment lol. You must of tried to do some research. But, yes, I stand correct, they decreased from the adverage 0.70% yearly increase rate in the years before, as I mentioned before. You can continue to argue the numbers that are clearly there, however, my point before and now is that the US growth rate has not been sufficient enough for your arguement of the historically vote of 81 million in 2020. Remember, babies don't vote, which is part of the growth rate. It was just that more people decided to come out and vote. Period. Biden didn't accidentally win nor was lucky. More people decided to support him. Case closed.

2016 was an election in which both Republican and Democratic candidates were terrible, and they got nearly the identical number of votes as Obama and Romney got in 2012, despite the growth of the US population. Hillary Clinton got about as many votes as Barack Obama got 4 years earlier. If you want to kid yourself that 2020 wasn’t an extraordinarily unusual election year due to a once-in-a-century pandemic that essentially eliminated actual Presidential campaigns, go ahead, I’m not talking to you anymore.

Hey, is this a private fight, or can anyone get in on it?

You're saying 2020 was an extraordinarily unusual election year, I agree with that, but why wouldn't 2024 be an extraordinarily unusual election year too? Aren't all elections involving Donald Trump extraordinarily unusual?

Oh my God, move along. I’m not about to try to explain to someone else that an election in which there is effectively no active campaign for the entire duration of the general election, because of a pandemic where people don’t go anywhere, is unique.

You're saying Biden isn't capable of traveling around the country campaigning? I live in Wisconsin, he's in Milwaukee this weekend. He was also here about a month ago. Last week Kamala Harris was in Milwaukee and Jill Biden was in Green Bay. Maybe you don't live in a swing state, but it's incredible how much attention we're getting.
