I come from a place where occupation and a slow erasure of identity has been taking place since as recently as the '90s, I can have empathy for why young men feel the need to do terrible things - you would have more empathy if you experience even half what mine or Palestinian people have. And by you I mean directly you not the generation before you or the generation before that.
