What about the bad decisions? Aren't we going to apply the same critique there?

For example, quite a few members in the administration pressured Biden, to send 2000 pound bombs to Israel. Thank god he refused. He and Harris definitely get the praise there.

You are semi-quite correct, Carina. Truth be told and facts be faced... We can be sure that there are plenty of folk in the administration who should both share and carry the blame for bad decisions and/or deserving of close critique on their respective opinions and advice given to the POTUS, etc..that could have caused harm via those relative measures. BUT ~~~~> I cannot give Biden nor Harris any credit for refusing to send that particular shipment of 2000 pound bombs. The FACT is that they are both guilty of enabling, funding and arming an active genocide (for decades, long-term support on record) and deciding to hold back a pittance of bombs while already having sent BILLIONS worth of financial aid, technology, arms, bombs and plenty of political and diplomatic cover...uuuuh, NOPE! No credit. Definitely a good thing that there were at least that many fewer bombs, but the U.S. keeps on sending more & more & more AND doubling down on their unmitigated support for the occupation and all of its harrowing consequences. The only credit that could be given in that direction is a complete reversal of policy, STOPPING ALL FINANCIAL AID AND ARMS SHIPMENTS!!!!! Plus recognizing the Palestinian State 100%, as well as abide by the ICC and ICJ rulings IN FULL + the completely unlikely, yet "credit-worthy" action... Turning himself in as an accomplice to genocide, apartheid and crimes against humanity.

One might argue that this list above is crazy talk...yet let us watch history unfold and if any of us are around in 20, 30, 40, 50 years... we will see the documents and secret communications leaked or released and all of this will be proven. We know the truth. the occupation must end. It is illegal by ANY & ALL standards of International law and therefore, the WH top brass get absolutely NO credit for partial and ineffective measures that are only for temporary good PR and not for everlasting peace FOR the region. Blessings on Blessings.

Israel has executed the most unthinkable humiliations and abuse on the Palestinian people, and yet, US stand by their ally, no matter what.

I am appalled and perplexed, that a democratic government

can support this. I agree with you completely. I just used “praise” as an example of the opposite happening.

Thank You for writing back!

Wasn't that just a "pause"?

Maybe so, I never heard they sent one. They are onto other endeavors in Middle East right now, sending ships and troops, due to escalations in other areas.
