Throughout history, people have always had "sophisticated" arguments for why we can do no more than to accommodate evil. that any fundamental change based on admittedly simple moral principles is impractical and even impossible. Usually these people are wrong, I can supply other examples if you're interested, but I'm guessing you're not.
