Soft-spoken, thought-provoking and eloquent. Seeing the son, no wonder they fear his father.

The sham trial as well as his speeches and views must be more broadly broadcast and Marwan Barghouti freed.

I appreciate older people, but an 89 year old leader? Time for Abbas to retire and be quiet.

Free Barghouti now!

In its brief history, Zeteo has conducted some impressive interviews, and this one ranks among the best. Well done!

Arab Barghouthi stated, “I want the American government to see us as human beings.” This powerful remark, delivered with cadence and conviction, starkly exposes the mantra of the ideologues who persist in subjugating Palestinians.

It's very important to keep Marwan Barghouti's importance as a peacemaker kept front and center in the media. It's clear that both the PA and Israel are scared of Mr. Barghouti because their present power lies in continuing warfare and his work as a peacemaker would interfere with that.

Another excellent piece Mehdi. ISR has

not shown interest in the Palestinians having unifying, efficient, popular, peace seeking leadership. I doubt they will release him under the Qatar deal, but if they do, he may not survive for long. They have a track record of killing negotiation partners. I wish I could be more hopeful. I obviously don’t have Palestinian DNA. But what I will say is that the Palestinians are the most wise, intelligent, well informed people I have ever met. There will be other decent candidates for leaders. But this is not the problem. The problem is ISR.

These IDF soldiers and a great part of the Israeli people are the worst, brutal and totally without mercy. They're ugly with it. Liars hypocrites and sadists; the whole bloody lot of them. Hopefully their comeuppance is coming soon.

What a moving interview.I’m shaken to the core by the terrifying facts I’ve seen and learned about the Zionist project. I hope this young man will hug his martyred father soon again.

Great interview, full of insights for those of us who were too young to pay attention 23 years ago. May we see him free very soon. The horror he endured in those prisons is inconceivable.

Free Barghouti from Israeli prison and send Abbas to a Palestinian one.

Or a Dutch one, perhaps.

The fortitude, the civility and grace, the humanity of this young man is astonishing! His father is one of many sidelined, silenced, imprisoned, etc. Palestinians who could have, would have and inshallah will one day build a country. Israel is on course to become a failed state...it's only a matter of time, lest some miraculous revolution burst forth.

Mehdi. I appreciate your interviews….but you talked too much over Greta. You tend to use several adjectives…please let people talk…don’t jump in. I know you wanted to use as many questions as possible but we know you can’t use them all. I tuned in to hear Greta.

Great interview thanks Arab and Medhi. The more the world hears about Marwan Barghouti the better the world will be, including of course Palestinians and Israelis.
