Don't reduce what happened at Harris' election rally to 'heckling' Mehdi. Their exact words were, "Kamala, Kamala you can’t hide, we won’t vote for genocide." As Biden's VP, she shares culpability in the death and destruction that's befallen Gaza and was rightfully called out on it. And the manner in which she responded (but what about Trump) makes it abundantly clear that there won't be any substantive change in policy as far as unequivocally supporting Israel, no matter what it does, is concerned. Surely this isn't a trivial matter. Voters are now fully aware that the Harris-Walz ticket is just as beholden to AIPAC et al as the Biden administration was, and can exercise their choice in an informed manner.

A practical way people can help reduce Musk's toxicity. Don't buy a Tesla.

Authentic reporting. Thank you for that Mehdi!

I'm now thinking about the parallels between the U.S. and the U.K. on race and immigration. A bonus I feel I get on Zeteo since you are so knowledgeable on U.K. politics. Thanks for giving us bird's eye view of current affairs in the U.K. Best

Seeing Mehdi interview BTC is like watching an Avengers movie.

You're probably on it already but I would love to see @mehdihasan interview Cori Bush about what happened due to AIPAC (including her opponent's behavior, where he told her he would not run and then did)

That's why there's still a genocide going on. War criminals the lot of them.

Truly shocked to see how many people in England in particular keep repeating this “Islamophobia isn’t real, we aren’t Islamophobic, we just think it’s a toxic ideology of barbarians that want to kill all non-Muslims & sadistically assault white women.” The full embodiment of believing ISIS is entirely formed on the determination of Islam, that it is inherently fundamentalist. Like nah mate, you thinking that is what is Islamophobic!

Great perspectives, thanks Zara & Mehdi

It's not enough to deny the backward-ass white-supremacist assertion that fascists are MORE policed; you have to assert the TRUTH, which is that they are far, far, far LESS policed.

They are not JUST lying; they are claiming that up is down. You HAVE to point that out!

In Britain we need politicians like Zarah and in America we hope Kamala can be her own person and not beholden to zionist demand. She did say her Indian grandfather spoke highly of freedom fighters. She must make sure that the American 2000 pound bombs are not use to annihilate the Gaza freedom fighters.

It's clear she is not going to stop the genocide if she won't even let people protest. The Democrats are funded by AIPAC.

Good show, I always listen and appreciate. You talk about the root cause of things. It strikes me that the root cause of all evil is the desire for absolute certainty, which in turn gives you the false sense of being in control. The unfortunate reality is we live in a universe in which uncertainty is built into the very structure of it. Whether you ascribe that to God as creator, or to natural causes, it is there structurally. When you provide freedom, freedom can only come with uncertainty. If there is absolute certainty, there is no freedom. So how does this relate to this discussion? My observation is that as people sense the world around them changing and the changes are out of their control, then their natural response is to attempt to exert or re-exert control of everything and everyone around them, and this leads to authoritarianism, rigidity, and lack of freedom. This is true whether you are talking about the far right or the far left. The people on the extremes are the people who struggle with this the most, and try hard to bring it into the mainstream, so that they then control the dialogue and outcomes. Thank you again. I really appreciate what you are doing. I was curious though, I read earlier of the large crowds of counter protesters in England that were larger than those on the far right who came out against what the far right was pushing. I didn't hear you discuss that at all. Was there a reason?
