Although many pundits in the MSM and independent news shows keep talking about the polls, as Omar pointed out, they are just a snapshot in time. Conversely, the betting markets are more continuous and are plausibly a better litmus test of the presidential race.
Based on sites such as polymarket.com and oddschecker.com, the race isn’t even close anymore; Trump keeps extending his lead.
If anyone at Zeteo reads my drivel, I do hope you will consider priming your viewers by recapping SCOTUS’ Bush v Gore decision to stop the recount. People keep talking about Trump not conceding should he lose. However, if the betting markets today are indicative of what happens in the presidential race and Harris loses key swing states by small margins, demands a recount, doesn’t concede, and the pro-Trump SCOTUS does what they did in 2000, then the minimal confidence Americans have in their institutions could be eviscerated. Should that happen, perilous times await us all.
