At some point in not to distant future there will be a Palestinian Holocaust Museum and as we visit that museum we will be asking ourselves 'How did we allow this to happen'

1776 - Independence from England tyranny

2024 - *Independence* *from* *Zionist/AIPAC* *tyranny*

Though I hope you're right, keep in mind that that the national Holocaust museum in DC was approved by Congress unanimously and a slavery museum has been consistently denied.

This is unfortunately a sad reality in the USA and much of the Western world where most of colonizers in Palestine are coming from. Justice and equality are not for the Black or Brown people in the Western world but they need to take it upon themselves to achieve those. A Palestinian Holocaust museum or Slavery museum does not need our politician blessing but the ordinary people's blessing and effort.

Why am I not in the least bit surprised? Just observe your surroundings. In the 21st century, in the year 2024, the United States has not yet reached a point where it is willing to elect a woman who has both African American and Indian American heritage. She must secure a “White MAN” as her running mate just to have a chance. However, this time, we will overcome, and she will become the elected President of the United States in November.

Tbh, I have been thinking they should start a museum to document the torture they have witnessing since 1948 if not earlier than that!

Will Hollywood make Palestinian holocaust movies every year like they do for themselves?

I have followed the situation in Gaza since Oct 7. I remember as a law student reading about the genocide in the refugee camps in Lebanon in 1982. Every night I pray for the people of Gaza heartbroken and horrified; and every morning, the atrocities and barbarism perpetrated by Frankenstein’s monster becomes even more inhumane and horrific. I have known about the atrocities of torture and rape in Israeli jails, and my disgust for the Israelis increases every second. The world is mad, perverse and inhumane. After today and listening to Harris’ response, I will not vote for her. Trump turns my stomach but nothing will change with Harris and Netanyahu just set her up. It is truly the evil of modern times and WWII redux. We don’t learn as a species.

I have struggled with the thought of not voting in November because of this horrid genocide in Gaza. I dislike Trump and all that he stands for as much as I hate Netanyahu and zionists who cheer on the slaughter just to satisfy their lust for innocent blood, all for some book that is rooted in "psilocybin mushrooms"! I have decided that there is a better chance at a two state solution by voting for Harris in November.

Same here, I'm furious at Biden/Harris for their support of genocide, but I'm voting for Harris because Trump would be so much worse. Just look at the "Kushner plan", bulldoze a space in the Negev for the Palestinians and sell off Gaza's waterfront to real estate developers. Anyone who thinks it wouldn't be much, much worse under Trump is fooling themselves.

This is what happens to a society of a country that is committing genocide. A society can not stay sane when it is run like the israeli society. Committing genocide, dehumanizing an entire group and instituting Apartheid does something to a society and we are seeing it now. Weeks ago, Ilan Pappe said that we are witnessing the beginning of the end of the zionist project. It will bloody, tragic and a long way but is the end. And I believe him...

Well I don't have to go to the zoo to see animals. These two-legged varieties in Israel do the job. Sorry, that insults real animals. How long will the rest of the world put up with this barbarism? These people are disgusting and don't deserve the respect of other nations, they don't deserve a state of their own. Harsh words sadly, but true.

On our taxes…just to be clear. The issue no one wants to confront is the structural racism, particularly of the anti Arab, anti Muslim variety, that is built into the Democrats. Thst is the discussion I want to participate in…starting with an in depth analysis of the role of AIPAC,

Those scenes remind me of the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol, the cops suddenly confused and unable to fight back effectively because the people attacking them are White and right-wing. Obviously, if Palestinian protesters marched on an Israeli military base - even in a peaceful protest - they'd all be dead now, but when Israeli extremists do it, the cops and soldiers forget how to fight and go into "Please stop hitting me, sir" mode.

Thank you for continuing to report on the horror that is the Gaza War and the looming wider regional war, while all eyes are dutifully refocused on trump as he spews at the NABJ, which is exactly why he appeared there--he couldn't stand being out of the limelight.

The Israeli Government seems committed to doing to others a thousandfold whatever is done or has been done to Jews throughout history. I read Haaretz daily to reassure myself that not all the Israeli people have gone insane. This is not new. A harrowing but readable book is A Day in the Life of Abed Salama by Nathan Thrall, an American Jew living in Jerusalem.

What happened on October 7th was horrifying. Even more horrifying are the people who go on about rape/murder/beheading as an EXCUSE for what has happened since. It disrespects the victims of slaughter to perpetuate mass slaughter in their name.

The u.s. only got into WWII when we were attacked! That is not going to happen here. Shame on the u.s., for just sitting by watching when something can be done. Shame on isreal, for perpetuating hate! Shame on hamas, for using horrible violence & hiding as the real Palestinians people experience genocide at the hands of the israeli gov.

Israeli protesters interrupted a high court hearing on the notorious Sde Teiman detention camp where Palestinians are tortured and held in poor conditions, shouting "we will rape them now," according to Israeli newspaper Maariv.

A leaked video showed the alleged gang-rape of a Palestinian detainee by Israeli soldiers at the Sde Teiman detention camp.

The footage, published by Israeli Channel 12 on Tuesday, showed dozens of soldiers entering the facility before moving one blindfolded man aside.

The detainee is then surrounded by a group of soldiers holding shields before they allegedly rape him.
