And not enough questioners call out Trump right then and there for his endless lies. Like Mehdi says - they need to have the receipts ready when they ask their questions and do NOT let Trump and the MAGA crowd get away with their BS. Trump and Vance and MAGA world always go straight into the gutter. And that folks is what America will get with this crowd. Time for America to move on from this and elect people who actually care about America and Americans and offer a brighter future for America and not the dark future that Trump and Vance and Project 2025 has prepared for America.
I agree, the media should not let Trump/maga get away with BS.
The term USA should be used rather than America though. Unless you were actually suggesting something beautiful like the overall cooperation with all the countries of the America's, which would be quite wonderful. Instead of Central & South America being exploited for their resources then left with whatever puppet dictator the CIA put in place. We rarely, if ever hear the real reasons why people are trying to immigrate to the usa- it's imperialism. The America's include Canada, Central & South America obviously.
I agree. It's not even that hard in the modern age. Yes Trump just spouts random lies, regardless of the question asked, but he's religiously fixated on certain topics. It's really not that hard to have prepped fact checks for those topics.
The NABJ. I'm speechless. I thought the idea of inviting Trump for an interview was stupid from the beginning. You mean they could not give KH grace to interview via Zoom? The woman is helping to run the country, campaigning for the presidency which was just thrown into her lap, and care for her family. Black women must do it all. NABJ, WTF?
I watched as Harris Faulkner was interviewed by a colleague on her own Fox channel. The question was, what was her take on the way Trump answered the questions put to him by the other members of the panel. Harris did not answer the question, but remarked how much the audience "enjoyed" watching the conversation. So I guess "don't bother answering the question they ask" is their MO.
sometimes I truly cannot believe this shitshow is real life

Performative journalism. Sickening!
Man these people don't know anything. Tim Walz isn't weird - he's a big ol' dork.
And I'm here for it.
Firing Jacobs was clearly an outrageous case of scapegoating. The responsibility here lies with her editors.
