Whilst I completely agree with your points re. the terrible racist slur and the worse attitude of the Trump-supporting ultra right “analyst”, I can’t agree with your “running scared of Trump” approach to backing the continuity-of-genocide-in-Gaza candidate in the US Presidential election. Harris had an appalling record re. rights and migrants when AG in California and the legitimacy of her appointment to her role there even came into question. With a background like that, her failure to challenge the position of the current administration when in a position of significant influence, suggests that she is as supportive of “the status quo” as anyone within the Biden administration. This is an ominous sign for countries all over the Middle East and I am really surprised that you’re prepared to lend her campaign your support, even if you suggest that it is qualified support. There will never be change in the US (or UK) unless the two party hegemonies are challenged. They must be made to account for their complicit in Israel’s crimes or you and others will be talking in future of how you fiddled whilst Gaza literally burned.
