This was such an excellent interview, Mehdi. We are considering moving to the UK (my husband is English), and seeing Mr. Polanski helped reassure us that Reform won't be taking over without a fight. We're very impressed with him and hope he continues to attract voters.

Pleased that you haven't ignored us subscribers in Blighty altogether :) Feels seriously weird to be spoiled for choice between two left wing parties - the Greens under Polanski and what I hope will materialise into a serious people's socialist party with Corbyn and Sultana at the helm.

Could you pass one of those spare parties over to the US? We've run out of left parties

Ha, ha. Not a chance. But I didn't know you ever had any leftist parties. Its been tweedle dum and tweedle dee for a very long time.

Simone Zimmerman, Hannah Einbinder, and Zack Polanski that's a trifecta of good progressives.

Thank you, Zeteo, for introducing us to these excellent communicators.

Excellent interview as usual, Mehdi

What a delight to watch Green party challenging the status quo and then actually making progress.

Mehdi, I have a suggestion for you. There is an immense power in social media and rising trend of independant media. I am seeing many new youngsters (Gen Z) and older (Millenials) people coming out and speaking about the things that need to be spoken about. Why don't you setup a Zeteo academy where you take all these aspiring journalists (most of them dont even know they are doing journalism) under the wing of Zeteo and train them. Take them from all over the world. Let them bring their domestic and international issues and give them the tools to eloquently and unapologetically speak about them. The first thing you would need to teach them is how to build the integrity in the long term and how to identify right from the wrong in this confusing world. Eventually you will build a movement of Zeteoains advocating for what is right for this planet Earth and the people living in it from every corner of the world.

Why is it not difficult? It would take time but its not difficult.

- Mehdi you are without a doubt an absolute beast and the best journalist and a debator in the journalism space in the whole world in my view. You can record basics to teach in just weeks.

- This can be done remotely. Thanks to the greatest invention of our times, the Internet.

- You have a growing team. Most of the tasks of this endeavour can be delegated.

- I know that your moral compass is not compromised. It would be easier for you to identify that in others.

Take this step. Go Global. Leave a legacy, not for your name but because the world needs it, now more than ever.

I would love to help out if you need me for anything.

YES YES YES! FINALLY de-bunking that Federal Budget= 'household budget' nonsense! Stephanie Kelton who advised Bernie Sanders used to talk and teach on this and it just hasn't caught on here still! And the nastiness of 'austerity' for everyone else to suffer except for the filthy rich. I was so thrilled to hear this interview it was great to hear straight talk without any BS by Polanski-I hope the GREENS win with him-he's good for what ails us-and about time!

Thank you for giving Zack Polanski a platform, unlike the BBC, ITV, Sky etc who just peddle Farage.

He is inspiring.

I have always been a Labour voter and card carrying member but left years ago, although I found Corbyn principled unlike many in his Shadow Cabinet.

I would not vote Labour at the last general election and voted Independent for the locals.

Mr Polanski is giving me hope, but he needs good local candidates. A slug with a blue rosette would get elected here. Bring on PR.

Off to the Green Party web site now.

Why is it necessary to insist on the "Jewish nation"? How else to rely on the Holocaust card as a basis to defend ethnic cleansing and genocide against Palestinians. Like American Republicans, they'll not be respectable again until they've purged the nation of the MAGA scourge.

there is a real momentum behind Zack Polanski over here. He seems to be able to attract the kids with his savvy use of social media but also older people like me. I think also after the debacle over Your Party a lot of people have switched. I would be happy with either, may be they can work together, we need hope, like NY with Zohran Mamdani

Cheeto And the Nazi Economic Game: Screw Everybody Except The Wealthy

It has been clear since the 1980’s and Reagan that the main economic policy was to hand their wealthy donor class tax breaks and make the rest of the electorate pay for it It’s the story of the privileged class, superior genetics(RFK Jr and his eugenics crap), and “we deserve to rule” kind of policy that led eventually to the political strategy of “trickle down economics(TDE)” Give the wealthy a bunch of money out of the pockets of the middle class and then that money will be distributed to the inferior human beings “below them” The Republican gambit has always been “we’re better than everyone else” so join us….we’ll elevate your game

A couple of studies have now shown that TDE doesn’t work and that the wealthy just become wealthier with an ever increasing wealth gap as a result and as a result everybody else gets poorer It’s now clear that that Cheeto and the Nazis are living Greed/Power Corrupts, and Absolute Greed/Power Corrupts Absolutely

Yes, the protests over the weekend in my view are about saving the democratic Republic but that societal unrest has underpinnings in the economic inequality that is being foisted on the American people by the current Nazi regime in the guise of inflation WE the People have had enough and it’s French Revolution 2.0(21st century style) and the way to screw the wealthy is to tax them and level the playing field(in the 1950’s the effective tax rate for top 1% was 42 to 45% and now 26 to 28%!!!)

What an absolutely inspiring conversation! Hopeful for Mr. Polanski, and our own Mamdani. May their clear, authentic voices be heard & magnified everywhere, and may their leadership help us bring the 1% to their knees.
