Lovely, Mehdi, you are spot on with those questions 😀😀😀Thank you for this report, and the wonderful guests ❤️❤️❤️

I just can't believe that a convicted Fellon can run for President, but a convicted fellow can't vote🤔🤔🤔

But for the double standard of justice, one for the rich and powerful and another for the rest of us, Trump would have been led promptly to jail after conviction while awaiting sentencing and during the appeal process. It seems the judiciary hopes Trump, a flight risk, will flee and live happily ever after in a Russian or Saudi Arabian palace palace, or other suitable venue with no extradition treaty; no one would need to assume the responsibility for the consequences of holding him accountable for his crimes. It is said, as a mantra, no one is above the law; sounds nice, but untrue. Presidential immunity/impunity is a long and ignoble tradition preserved in part to reward those who adhere to the code of silence. President must be held accountable starting with Trump snd Biden.

It’s easy for him to flee the country owning a 757 Boeing Aircraft.

So the choice for American’s is a convicted criminal or Genocide Joe!? Tragic for America, tragic for the world!

You "Genocide Joe" folks crack me up. If Trump returns you can bet he'll finish what Bibi started, with a smile. And I might as well ask for Americans here: why do you hate gays, women, the environment, Ukraine, Taiwan, and any hope of a Supreme Court not infested with MAGA trash? Enough of them can pass on any day now.

Is Jackson reviled by any others than the Ya estaba? Unless it’s in the textbooks, genocide Joe will be forgotten soon. Until now I’ve not appreciated Ancient Greek exile. Now I understand.

Slightly off this topic but not sure where to ask a question that I feel needs some good media focus. With the results for the SÃ election will this at all effect SA’s leadership on a world stage at ICJ? What’s the cause/effect of these election results on the genocide in Palestine being fought at the ICJ and being led by SA? I need educating here as not across SÃ politics at all. Help please @zeteo

I’m compelled to edit comments I made on 5/30. The changes were initially prompted by remorse for failing, unwittingly, to disclose that I’m not a lawyer. As a non lawyer, I feel duty bound to opine that with respect to now convicted felon DJT, the law has failed to protect us all—whether we’re at home or abroad. Although better late than never, the adage: Justice denied is justice delayed, remains true. Justice was delayed mainly due to the cowardice and misplaced loyalties of U.S. Atty Gen Merrick Garland, recommended to Pres Biden by right-wing (fascist) former Republican senator from Utah, Orin Hatch. In all candor, I’m increasingly impatient with the plethora of euphemisms so-called moderates use to minimize the threat posed by fascists, but that’s another story for another time.

“But for the double standard of justice, one for the rich and powerful and another for the rest of us, Trump would have [likely] been led promptly to jail after conviction while awaiting sentencing and during the appeal process. It seems the judiciary hopes [that] Trump, [not only] a flight risk, but also a danger to himself and others] will flee and live happily ever after in a Russian or Saudi Arabian palace palace, or other suitable venue with no extradition treaty; no one would need to assume the responsibility for the consequences of holding him accountable for his crimes. [ Said judiciary, has failed to considered that the former president, now a convicted felon, is a dire threat to our national security, whether he flees or not. This convicted criminal has been, and still is, in the possession of information that our enemies would be willing to pay a high price for—as a long time grifter, Trump is unlikely to shy from profiting from while in or out of the WH. Gov’t has a duty, more often than not neglected, to protect out health and safety. Both Dems and the GOP must be cognizant that this serial law breaker, who assumes his above the law would not hesitate to incite yet another coup or even a 2nd civil war. I urge seeing Civil War, the movie, directed by Alex Garland. ] It is said, as a mantra, no one is above the law; sounds nice, but untrue. I walked past the Heritage Foundation building in DC. The flags are high atop the building. The flag was flying upside down. I was so angry. Lest us forget where most of the Justices on the Supreme Court.

House Speaker Mike Johnson said that this is unprecedented, it’s absurd.

What’s unprecedented, an ex-President who could never accept that he was defeated and participate in the smooth transfer of power, like all previous presidents, be put on the same equal footing of every other American citizen, when it comes to moral justice. That’s what’s unprecedented? Give us a break. If it was the poor class that was guilty of the same charges we’d been locked up longtime ago. We’d been locked up just for violating the gag order. The man has no respect for law and order.
