I do not believe it. Several Jewish students were arrested too, and the college is using antisemitism as a foil. It is all baloney. Hats off to you all for protesting the terrible slaughter in Gaza. The Netanyahu government is trying to eliminate Palestinians in the worst way, by starvation and destruction. I am very concerned that our government here is continuing to send aid and weapons to the Israelis, and the protests remind me very much of the Vietnam anti-war protests so long ago. I fully support your peaceful protests, and next time I am in the city will try to stop by and give my support. Thank you all for being active citizens.

Thanks for sharing. It’s continuously frustrating how the media portrays civil protests today when it comes to Palestine. And it’s not just the “FOX NEWS” types. I watched “the Morning Joe” on MSNBC this morning as Joe Scarborough called protests explicitly anti-Jewish protests. Keep speaking up and sharing the truth.

Joe is a MSNBC Republican. There’s quite a few. Some are better than others.

Truly you have my support. It is absolutely insane just how much falsness these officials continue to spew out to the wider public. I can only wish that those people can see through the lies. Literally societies taxes are being spent on a Genocide that serves no one but the elites and Zionists ideology. InshaAllah your generation will indeed spearhead the change. And it's up to rest of us to support you.

In an effort to silence those opposing the genocide, they are only acknowledging the very goals of these protests... Zionists are a danger to the Palestinian AND Jewish people.

Thank you so much; what a relief to read this. Thank you Jonathan Ben- Menachem.

What a treat after all the corporate media blah blah blah. and Good luck to all of you,

and to the hostages and to all the Gazans.

I was thinking about this last night and just wondering how much of it are real safety concerns for Jewish students and how much is made up to build a narrative to decimate these protests. Thank you for confirming my suspicions.

We need the truth and exposure of those who wish to perpetuate the injustice inflicted on peaceful protesters. Thank you for sharing the real facts.

Extremely well written and reasoned explanation of the issues. So much more nuanced and informative than mainstream media consent manufacturing. Keep up the good fight! You are on the side of justice and humanity which is apparently too difficult for corporate media and the political talking heads to admit. Students and young people rejecting the status quo give me hope for a better future while some people in power are frightening in their support of unbelievable atrocities and human rights violations. The very same people who were appalled by Nazi atrocities and incredulous of the callousness of German citizens are now absolutely steadfast in the support of arguably even greater crimes committed with our country's verbal and active support.

Thank you, Kathy, I could not have said any better.

Its infuriating to watch senators and presidents lean on antisemitism when it comes to protesting genocide - knowing that the truth on the college campuses is clearly about Gaza.

This is a thoughtful response to an untenable "war" in Gaza. Our national leaders are failing humanity. Free Palestine!

It's a time honored tradition of those wanting the maintain their position (read control) in society.

It's called "divide and conquer" which will be used as a cudgel against anywone, group, etc. to keep them in line.

The realities are the thing the powerbrokers fears is not terrorism, economic colllapse, etc.

but unity among the masses....

Think about contention among the masses:

* Short against Tall

* White vs Black

* North vs South

* East Coast vs West Coast

* Muslim vs Christian vs Catholics vs atheists....

* And the beat goes on

We've been "indocrinated" with the "rugged individualist" fiction which

is contrary to cooperation among the masses, empathy only for members of

the tribe, disinterest if a particular issue doesn't APPEAR to inpact the individual

directly, .....

We all have to be able to apply critical thinking leaving emotion out of the decision making.

Emotions are part of the human constitution but is made for "feelings"...

The mind is the rational authority.

Conflating the two, speaking of propaganda, allows us to be manipulated. Period.

I cannot believe the vitriolic, vile smears being hurled at Jewish students by the PhD in "Organizational management".

Who by the way, is a nepo baby, whose parents are arms manufacturers.

The media is complicit in both racist Orientalism of Arabs, and racist stereotypes of jews as a monolithic nation committed to one state without a rich, diverse background.

Yonaton is speaking truth to power, and is an example to follow.

Your courage is appreciated 👏 💐.
