As I type this through watery eyes, my heart breaks. The resilience of Mr. Altatari is amazing and admirable. The hope he wants to show his children despite this destruction shows he is a man of deep character and love. I am embarrassed because I do not think I could endure what he and his family have endured and will endure in the future. Thank you for sharing this heartfelt story of a family's return.

Absolutely gut wrenching. Every pro-give Israel whatever they want member of Congress should be forced to watch this before voting to provide Netanyahu with more money and bombs

Shame. Then anger. My tax dollars did this. Whatever good name we had in the world is smashed. How I wish I could fire every politician that voted to support this.

The entire human race should be made to watch this video. In ten minutes you will see both the darkest side of humanity and the the most beautiful side of humanity. The unwavering faith in God and patience exhibited by this man are truly awe inspiring. Allahu Akbar.

I am only 2:43 into this video and my heart is breaking. When will humans change? When will humans be kind to one and another? This cruelty has to stop now!

I hope the ceasefire holds and Gazans can settle down. It's ominous that Trump says he wants to displace the population while Natanyahu smirks.

I can hardly bear to watch the pain of the Palestinian people in Gaza and the West Bank. Their homes are being obliterated, the hospitals, schools and universities are gone. What hope is left for them? I am disgusted with the Israelis and the USA who are doing this to these people. October 6 was horrific but did not come out of the blue. History should have taught us what happens when a people take a land that does not belong to them.

Incredible that most Israelis see this torture and aren't moved. Even pro-Israeli Americans who cheer for this war must be cruel and heartless. What's more despairing is that the world watches and does absolutely nothing to aid these poor suffering people. It's a very dark hour for humans. People should remember that what goes around can come around. Be very careful for we could be next. It kills me to see these beautiful children having to live with such terror.

I don't need to add a long comment, because you are saying what I'm saying.

Small detail - I want to help rebuild Gaza and Palestine in general. Get those beautiful buildings, those happy children, the housing, schools, and structures that My Tax Dollars DESTROYED back up and better than ever

That some people cannot see the long and ongoing injustice beggars belief! We know that Israel is a little crap country supported by a big crap country...wait I have a plan! ..why can't the entire Israeli population be "encouraged" to live in the USA?..it is a large area; surely some space could be made for them and it would leave the middle- east a much more harmonious region. How repellent it was to witness that urine coloured US president entertaining that grinning shaved chimp Israeli one. We all know who the real terrorists are!

I felt the same sense of unspeakable grief watching this as I did when I toured a concentration camp in Germany.

Shame on humanity.
