With the most respect I don’t think this piece is aimed at the western feminists who are speaking up and putting the work in. If we get defensive then we risk sounding a bit “not all white women” about this and that doesn’t help anyone. If you’re doing the learning and the unlearning you’re doing great. We have to be able to call out hypocrisy where we see it without worrying about offending everyone.

My thoughts exactly, I’m a white woman and not in the least offended. She speaks the truth, MOST white women are silent. Zeteo will not “both sides” things and that is what I like, sometimes proper journalism IS telling it like it is.

If western females, who proclaim themselves feminists, are silent about this massive-scale obliteration of basic women's health and obliteration of human rights--what should the other women of the world do? Stay silent?

Non sequitur and false sweeping generalization. What you should do is BE HONEST.
