The deep irony is that the current President and the appointees in his administration are the real criminals who are endangering the rule of law and the Constitution of the United States. Mohsen Mahdawi is a scholar and a peaceful man. Apparently, the T administration feels that scholarly and peaceful people are a threat This is a clear indication that the actual threat to our Democracy comes from T and the sycophants who surround him!

It’s as if these incidents are becoming treated as routine — not worthy of individual coverage. I will write to Georgetown’s dean and hope my letter is forwarded to the family.
This is how the Israel government treats Palestinians, grabbing them off streets and imprisoning them without due process. We are becoming like them.
I am heartsick about the poisoning of our country by the right-wing Israeli lobby. It has infected our politicians, academia and media and adversely impacted our civil liberties. It has taken our tax dollars for genocide. It seems much more insidious, influential and widespread than the homegrown McCarthyism of the past.
We need to let our politicians know loud and clear that we will not support those of them who support a genocide. No more Biden, Trump, Harris, Stefanik, Schumer or Booker, to name just a few — i.e., those who have allowed themselves to be captured by a foreign lobby. The U.S. and its citizens stand nothing to gain from this. It seems treasonous, but it also seems that it has become dangerous to say so.

I gave Mapheze Suri a standing ovation from my couch. What sickens me that even if the vicious MAGAts watched her all they would see is a Muslim. They hate all Muslims. We have rotten pustules of hate in this country. Furthermore, this demeans our international reputation as a country that welcomes good honest citizens of the world. Reputation is real. The rest of the World is writing us off. This can't go on another 3 years!

Mehdi, I’m a bit embarrassed to confess that I had never heard of Beta Worldwide! I had wondered who had tattletaled, providing information on what really appeared to be quite random targets to the authorities, and assumed that there were spies among students, perhaps.. But Beta Worlwide is a going concern, reporting specific ‘bastards’ and urging that they be deported or worse. Who ARE these people? Are they American? Are they Israeli? And why are the authorities so immediately responsive?
I read every word on ZETEO, and would dearly love to read an investigation of these ill -informed but dangerous troublemakers and have them exposed….
