As us lefties have been saying for a long time, the United States Congress is an Israeli occupied territory.

Influence?!?!?! How about full control.

There is only one political party in our nation, the AIPAC party.

@ROKHANNA FOR PRESIDENT. PERIOD. END OF STORY. #BernieSanders is (sadly) too old and NOT COMING TO SAVE US. It's time us progressives pick a new champion and get behind him #tendoesdown 1,000% ‼️ @hasanthehun you KNOW I'm right. Why not someone who's been TTD FOR #BERNIE since #dayone

I completely agree. I think it's time for an exposé on all the House and Senate members receiving AIPAC money -- just like is done with the arms manufacturers/NRA. Voters need to know when our representatives are voting in Israel's interests not in ours.

Everyone needs to call their representatives and question them about receiving funds from AIPAC. They threw millions of dollars into the primary races of Cori Busch and Jamaal Bowman in order to defeat them for their stand on Israel.

There is a site called Donor Lookup OpenSecrets, accessed by "open secrets.org" which lists members of Congress, their donors and the amounts donated. They're currently a little behind (still loading 2024), but working to catch up.

It was already of concern in the 60s when John Kennedy called for AIPAC to be a registered foreign agent. The situation has only worsened as we can all see.

Don't just put a cap on super PAC donations; eliminate super PACs.

Likewise, it's not the "appearance" of corruption that is killing the country; it's the ACTUALITY of corruption.

When you root out AIPAC, the cockroaches will scatter. There are untold crimes throughout Congress. It’s now obvious to all that no matter the party, none of the leaders for decades are representing the people; not left, right or middle just getting an envelope of money with their vote instructions.

I never understood this Judeo Cristian argument? What does really mean for a country to be judeo christian?? and When did this judeo Christian tradition start??

My understanding of history is that (according to the Bible), Jews conspired against Jesus and since then, Jews have been constantly prosecuted by Christians culmination in the Spanish Inquisition and the crimes of the Holocaust.

By contrast, Jews lived in harmony among Muslims in North Africa and the Ottoman Empire for centuries.

I don't need a history lesson. I am referring to the political working of the two dominate religions in NYC. If you don't believe in their Gentleman's Agreement, so be it.But the powerful in NYC co- operate.** Yes, harmony in the Ottoman Empire. Groups often stay peaceful under an Empire. Look at the Romans. And harmony before the State of Israel. ** A lot of money in NYC. I wish this young man well. But it's just getting started. I hope he has good advice.

Perhaps you do not need a history lesson but I do. You specifically mentioned that this a “judeo/ Christian country” not city. Can you explain what does this mean? Last I checked the constitution, there was no reference to any religion so when did the US become a Judeo/ Christian country? And what does it mean for a country to be Judeo/ Christian? What privilege this gives to the members of the chosen religions as opposed to people like us (Muslims, Hindus, Buddhist, atheists etc…).

Christ was a Jew. Christianity split off. The Old Testament is used by both religions. There are many similarities. This is often causes a unified front to marginalize or completely exclude other groups. That's all. It is very strong here. Christianity became the second largest Monotheistic religion in a world that was dominantly Polytheastic. The Muslim religion became the third and now, the largest of the Monotheastic. That's all I'm saying. I am agnostic/atheist. I think they're all wrong or equally right, if you like. I lived in NYC from 1978 to 2023. Entering the old boys club of NYC politics is difficult. The Catholics, (original Christians) had a hard time getting in, (America being very Protestant). I watched as the late Mayor Dinkins, regardless of what one might have thought of his politics, hit

roadblock after roadblock. He was the first African American Mayor.**Maybe it's a brave new

world. Early days.

Am I wrong in my understanding that Khanna dismissed supporting an impeachment resolution against Trump at least in part because Democratic presidents, e.g., Obama, had also engaged in unconstitutional wars? He was referring to our war against Libya, which Obama argued was not a war because we didn’t have boots on the ground. Obama’s own Justice Department disagreed with him, but he went forward anyway. Many people, including myself, voted for Obama in 2008 because he said the Iraq War was a “mistake.” Not immoral or illegal, mind you, but a mistake. Before the 2008 election, the MSM ran stories saying that Obama’s opposition to the Iraq War was based on the advice of his handlers, who said it would play well in his liberal Illinois district. They had to convince him. After he was elected, he was quoted widely as saying his position would have been the same as Bush’s had he been president. Then, he adopted Bush’s timetable for getting out. He tried to extend the war past that point and withdrew some, not all, troops only because Iraq refused to give immunity to U.S. troops who had committed war crimes against Iraqi civilians. When Obama became president, he let Wall Street appoint his cabinet. All of this was and is in the public record, most of it in the MSM. I’m not convinced that Obama was a fraud so much as I’m convinced that U.S. voters believed what they wanted to about him despite a lot of evidence to the contrary. He was compared to FDR while distancing himself publicly from FDR and praising Reagan. Khanna needs to realize that praising Obama is going to turn off as many voters as it attracts. Maybe more. Obama, with his machinations against Sanders in 2016, is part of the Republican-lite trend in the party introduced by Clinton. Everything was there to be seen beforehand. Voters need to start paying more attention to candidates’ actual votes and all of their statements, not just public relations-created personalities and images. We are too easily manipulated.
